My skin was flipping over and I had to completely change my skincare routine to use this product! The cleansing foam that was supposed to be good for blemishes was actually irritating to me. 😭 So I purchased this product, which seems to have less irritation. I love it so much that it's a 150 out of 100 for me! 🤍 It's not just a regular soap, but a beauty bar that is fluffy yet not too drying. I use it for my morning cleansing, shower, and as the final step for makeup removal! 💕 I put it in a mesh puff and the rich lather feels so gentle on my skin, plus it gives me that clean feeling. 😇 It's also affordable, so I think it will become a staple in my routine! ㅎㅎ

A few years ago, when Director Pai recommended Dove soap, I started using it and have been using it ever since. There doesn't seem to be a product that can match Dove Beauty Bar in terms of moisturizing power and price. I used to only use it on my face and body because of the slippery residue, but when I worked up a good lather with the loofah, it was fine for my hair too. Face My skin is oily and acne-prone, but I've never had any trouble with breakouts or unpleasant odor from the Dove-specific residue. However, it doesn't have a calming effect, so I'm not sure if I would recommend it for troubled skin. I haven't had any experience with cleansers actually improving my breakouts, so I use Dove because it gently removes excess oil without drying my skin. Body The lather isn't as abundant as a body wash, and it can be a hassle to work up a good lather, needing to soak the loofah in hot water. But the fragrance after showering is really nice. I've noticed a lot of people recommending washing with Dove, so I decided to try it again and compare it to my regular shampoo. To use Dove as a shampoo, you need to wash twice. Once isn't enough to properly remove the oil. I lather it up, rinse, and then wash thoroughly a second time. Using a scalp brush really helped the lather come out better. The cleansing power is a bit weaker than regular shampoo, but my scalp doesn't feel dry afterwards. Even with my oily hair, I can use Dove daily without the scalp feeling tight, alternating with my regular shampoo.

I bought it because I wanted to try zero-waste. I used it as a body wash and shampoo for about 3 months. The scent is nice. No plastic waste.

Fragrance - It has a sweet, cozy, and subtle floral scent that I really love,,🥰 When you take out a new one, the nice fragrance lingers in the bathroom until you finish using the whole bar. Lather - I didn't expect much from the lather since it's a soap, but the lather turns out to be really good. Mild - I've used it on my face and body, and I didn't experience any breakouts or irritation! Moisturizing - It's so moisturizing that I want to wash my hands every time I feel a bit dry.

⭕ This is a highly personal opinion. I have had severe skin dryness since the winter of the year before last. My skin was peeling off like fish scales. I couldn't use regular body washes..when I used them, my skin felt like it was going to tear. I tried a beauty bar that was recommended by a pediatrician or dermatologist. ✔ It's definitely more moisturizing than regular body washes. My skin stays moisturized even after I apply body lotion. 👍👍 ✔ Since I use it on my body, I can just rub it directly with a soft shower towel and it lathers up really well. 👍👍 ✔ The scent is a subtle, old-fashioned one~ but it doesn't last long. I've been using the beauty bar so far and I'll continue to use it! Except in the summer though ㅠㅠㅠ I'll explain the downside later. Using this, my skin is not as good as before, but it's much better than when I had severe dryness.^^ When it was really bad, I had to bring it with me when I went out, but these days, I can use regular body wash for a couple of days and my skin doesn't feel like it's going to tear anymore~
