The volume is so generous that it seems to last forever no matter how much you use. It keeps your skin moisturized for a long time. I bought this for acne scars, but it's more oily than I expected, which actually caused more blemishes. I wouldn't recommend this to those with sensitive or oily skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 15, 2020
Application: It went on smoothly without any issues. Scent: Not an overpowering cosmetic smell, just a refreshing fragrance. The dropper surprisingly draws up and dispenses the product well. However, it doesn't provide much hydration. I didn't notice any particular brightening effects. I bought it during a sale and decided to test it on the back of my hand and behind my ear before applying it to my face. While there was no reaction behind my ear, a small area on my hand turned red but then subsided, so I thought it would be fine to use on my face. However, after a short while, my face started to feel warm and tingly. When I looked in the mirror, my previously clear cheeks had become red and slightly swollen, almost like hives. Later, three blemishes appeared. I think it doesn't agree with my skin, so I've stopped using it. It's best to check the ingredients list and avoid purchasing if there are any components that don't suit you. I researched a lot after reading reviews and bought it because some people said it was good, but I didn't expect to have a reaction on my face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 25, 2020
It absorbs beautifully, leaving my skin feeling deeply hydrated. I'm not sure if it's because of this product, but I've noticed some small blemishes appearing. As a result, I only apply it at night before bed, avoiding daytime use. I've found that applying too much can lead to small bumps, so I only use it on days when my skin feels particularly dry and in need of nourishment. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 12, 2020
It provides great hydration. The lemon scent is lovely! The white granules somehow give a sense of anticipation. After using it for a few days, I consistently got blemishes and small bumps exactly where I applied it. Also, it's extremely sticky. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2019
The white powder particles inside give a placebo effect that it'll brighten your skin when applied. Initially, I was using this product quite happily. After using it for a while, I noticed I kept getting blemishes and my skin became red... Also, about halfway through the bottle, the dropper stopped working properly, as if it was broken. I think the white particles might be sticking inside the dropper causing this issue. I bought this product after seeing a YouTuber's advertisement. If you have super sensitive skin, I strongly recommend buying the 30ml size first instead of the 100ml. This product can completely upset your skin if it doesn't suit you... The price difference isn't much, so think carefully before buying the 100ml, or you might regret it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2019
My skin type is generally combination dehydrated. I occasionally get small blemishes when my skin isn't at its best or during seasonal changes. I've tried the Hyaluron toner and Peptide ampoule from Amplén and liked them, so I decided to purchase and use the VC Shot ampoule as well. When I use the toner + VC Shot, I definitely feel like my skin becomes more hydrated and my complexion appears more even. While it seems to even out my skin tone, I don't think it's very effective as a brightening product. More importantly, after using this product, I noticed an increase in small blemishes, and when the seasons changed, my skin completely flared up, ultimately leading me to visit a dermatologist..... It might be okay to use occasionally when your skin is in good condition. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2019
It's a vitamin ampoule that doesn't cause any tingling sensation! The price is great when you catch it on sale! I love the fresh lemon scent too! Lastly, it absorbs well and has a nice, rich texture that made me reach for it often. At first, it seemed fine, but halfway through I started experiencing itchiness... My skin became red at that point... I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 14, 2019
I won this product in a consumer evaluation event by Amplen, and I'm finally writing my review. When applied, there's definitely a feeling of brightening from within. It's not a whitening product by any means. With consistent use, I think it's more effective for brightening rather than whitening. The scent is that refreshing smell typical of skincare products containing Vitamin C. It was good at first, but as time went on, I started getting blemishes. I'm not sure if it was too irritating for my skin, but I didn't like it much. This is surprising because my skin usually responds well to niacinamide and Vitamin C. If the brightening effect had been better, I might have continued using it despite the issues, but it wasn't that impressive. If I had spent my own money on this, I would have really regretted it, especially since it's not exactly cheap. When I apply it to my arms, I notice a slight improvement in my tanned skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2018
★Review from The Hwahae Testers★ * My skin type: Prone to acne from shea butter, extremely dry skin that cracks if I don't use emulsions, sensitive to grapefruit (but fine with other ingredients) 1. Definitely increases hydration! - I love that it maintains moisture even when I use less emulsion 2. Doesn't erase acne scars, but noticeably brightens the face. - It doesn't remove blemishes, but gives an overall brighter complexion 3. Quick absorption - The fast and smooth absorption makes it so comfortable and pleasant to use! 1. Quantity and price - It's only been about 2 weeks since I got the product, but it's almost gone. I used it twice a day, morning and night, pressing the dropper twice each time. Considering that, it seems too expensive... If it were half the price, I'd probably buy it again 2. Acne...? - I'm not sure if it's because of my cycle or this product, but I've developed a few deep, stubborn blemishes that are impossible to treat. I'll have to stop using this ampoule and observe to be sure I'll update my comment after stopping use for about a week - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2018
When I apply this before bed and wake up, my skin feels incredibly soft and supple. It's far from drying, but it does have a rich texture that isn't exactly lightweight. Despite this, I've used it daily for two weeks because I can definitely feel it refining my skin texture. It keeps my skin hydrated throughout the night, resulting in smoother skin the next morning. Surprisingly, the white particles dissolve well, so there's no residue left on the skin. As for its characteristics: The scent is a mix of vitamin and women's perfume, which is quite strong. It has a runny, mucus-like consistency. While it's marketed as a brightening product, honestly, it's difficult to expect visible results from short-term use of any cosmetic. Even after two weeks of daily use, I can't really notice any changes in my complexion. The initial stickiness when applied was somewhat off-putting. I was quite disappointed with the ingredients. Many Hwahae app users tend to prioritize ingredients, so this product falls short in that aspect. On days when my skin was particularly sensitive, it felt somewhat irritating... Though I can't be certain if it was due to this product, I did experience some blemishes. If you find it too sticky when applied generously, I recommend mixing a drop or two with another emulsion before application!
