I bought this mascara because the ingredients aren't bad, and it didn't irritate my eyes. The formula doesn't dry out easily, and it coats the brush well, making application smooth. It's soft but doesn't clump, and I love that there's no excess fallout even by the end of the workday. Since the formula doesn't dry out quickly, it's easy to clean excess product from between the brush bristles - just a quick wipe at the tube opening does the trick. I always clean the brush before applying, and even with frequent cleaning, the brush hasn't deteriorated. It's quite durable! The only, but major, drawback is the smudging. It smudges so much you can't tell if it's meant to be smudged or smoky. A light smudge looks like dark circles, while heavy smudging makes you look like the overworked supporting actress in a drama series. I have straight lashes that tend to droop quickly due to heavy brows. I've been using Estée Lauder for over 10 years. A Lotte department store employee strongly recommended this mascara, claiming it absolutely doesn't smudge and that all the staff use it. But as soon as I applied it, I felt like I'd bought eyeshadow with a wand attached. This mascara might suit those who say, 'My face is dry, but I prefer a matte makeup look.' My skin feels too tight for that kind of makeup, so Chanel mascara isn't for me. This mascara is so versatile! You can apply it lightly for a natural look or build it up for a more dramatic effect. I'm on my third tube! My friends also rave about its staying power and how well it curls lashes. Above all, it's absolutely gorgeous! It's relatively easy to remove, but that's about it. The formula spreads easily, which makes cleansing simple. This is the worst mascara I've ever used in terms of smudging. It starts to smear within an hour, leaving you with raccoon eyes. I wouldn't use it even if someone gave it to me for free.

This mascara is so good, I exclusively use it now. It creates voluminous lashes without smudging and stays put all day. While it doesn't dramatically lengthen lashes, it's unbeatable for maintaining a perfect curl. The price is a bit steep, but considering one tube lasts nearly a year, I think it's worth the investment. For someone with sensitive eyes, it's impressive that it doesn't cause any blemishes. And I must say, the packaging is quite attractive. I usually don't have issues with smudging, but after using this, it smears terribly under my eyes. I bought it based on the reviews below, but I never expected it to be this bad.

My eyes have deep-set double eyelids, which usually cause smudging, but with this product, that's not a concern at all. I love how it applies cleanly and finishes neatly without any mess. You can build up the volume with multiple coats, allowing for versatile looks. It's definitely a product I'll keep purchasing. The price... is always a bit of a pinch. But aside from that, I can't find any faults with this product. Clean and voluminous. Experiment with different looks.
