However, from my perspective (deep undertone), it's a red with a bit more pink mixed in and has a slightly fluorescent tinge. It might suit those with a deep undertone or cool summer complexion better than warm autumn tones. Being a lipstick, it doesn't leave a stain!
ConsWhen you layer it, it tends to clump a bit as you apply. It's like... residue? It forms small, grainy clumps, which is a bit disappointing.

I have both deep and light undertones, but this works beautifully for me. I find myself reaching for it more in winter than summer. Just a light application gives such a lovely, lively hue that I use it frequently.
ConsIt can accentuate dead skin cells a bit, so I apply lip balm first. With lip balm underneath, it's not drying at all and feels great! However, it does seem to fade a bit quickly.

Overall, the formula looks good! Color: This product has an intriguing color. It looks completely red in the tube, but when swatched on the wrist, it turns into a vibrant orange. Just when you think it might be too orange... apply it to your lips, and it becomes a beautiful red-orange blend. It's perfect for those with warm, light skin tones. It makes your skin look brighter and more vibrant. This could be your new holy grail lip product! Texture & Application: It has a matte finish without much shine. I've never tried such a lightweight lip product before. Even though my lips tend to develop dead skin cells quickly when dry, this lipstick, despite being extremely matte, has a powdery texture that adheres perfectly to my natural lips. It feels quite unique. Longevity: While it might come off quickly when eating, it doesn't wear off easily during normal activities. It lasts for several hours. Staining: I don't think the staining is too severe for this type of product.
ConsI didn't find any particular downsides while using this product. As expected, Rom&nd is a lip product expert.

I've been using it for a year, and there's still plenty left. Even though it got a bit dry, it's still going strong. Good stuff!
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but it does feel a bit thick and heavy when applying.

Review after use: Even though it's from the deep undertone line, the best colors are pink and red. It's perfect for applying a vibrant, clear red color as an accent. However, applying it to the full lip can be a bit overwhelming. When used for a gradient effect, it gives just the right pop of color.
ConsSince it's a lipstick and not a tint, the staying power is weak and it comes off without leaving any stain, which was disappointing.

It's so smooth, not dry or cakey at all.
ConsThere's a bit of cracking. The ends tend to split, so it needs occasional maintenance.

Just 2-3 swipes give you a vivid, well-defined color! ♡Color♡ - As you can see in the attached photo, it's a blend of 90% high-saturation red with 10% orange. Even warm-toned folks won't look washed out! ♡Adherence♡ - When a matte lip lacks adherence, it emphasizes dry patches and creates a 'yogurt effect'. A total disaster. But this product clings to your lips without flaking! ♡♡Slight Moisture♡♡ - I personally have very dry lips, but I didn't want to give up on matte lips that emphasize a seductive aura and intensity all year round. *This is the biggest reason I love this product!* Though it's matte, it has a slight moisture that leaves a soft, powdery finish.
ConsThere's no particular downside worth mentioning, except it does transfer onto masks. But since most lip products transfer to masks anyway, I don't consider this a significant drawback.
Tip*My tip for those with a deep undertone light complexion* - Even those with deep undertone light skin want a sultry look in autumn. Use this lip color with slightly muted orange & brown eyeshadows, and an orange blush. (This method maintains the loveliness of deep undertone light skin while also capturing that sultry autumn vibe.)

Now, let's dive into the product review! Color swatches: Shade 5: Has more brown undertones compared to the others. It's less brown than Espoir's typical Power Matte Moist colors. It has a pink tint, but may give a grayish cast if it doesn't suit your skin tone. Shade 16: A popular 'chili paste' shade among students. It has an overall reddish-orange hue, appearing as a soft pink spring bright tone when applied lightly. (Spring bright tones are vibrant and delicate colors.) Shade 18: A classic red. It's neither too warm nor too cool. Some find it cool, others warm - likely due to the subtle brown undertones. While it leans cool when swatched, it's still suitable for warm skin tones. Texture: Matte finish, similar to Rom&nd's matte lipsticks. Applies thinly and gradients beautifully, with a slightly powdery feel. (See cons for more details.) Staining: Minimal. Some color remains after blotting with a tissue, but it doesn't truly stain after drinking. Longevity: Not particularly long-lasting. The powdery texture may lead to the 'yogurt' effect with liquids, but the color doesn't fade excessively when blotted. Transfer: Transfers easily to straws, cups, and utensils. Less transfer to masks unless pressed firmly. Weight: Feels surprisingly light for a matte lipstick, even after multiple applications.
ConsCase staining: The lipstick tends to smear inside the case when applying. I usually extend it about 0.5cm to avoid breaking, but this results in product buildup inside the case. I'm not sure if anyone can avoid this without risking breakage by extending it further. Lack of adherence and settling into lines: The texture doesn't seem to meld well with the lips. I previously used the Brick Forte color, which had excellent adherence, pigmentation, and didn't settle into lines or show the 'yogurt' effect often. In contrast, this product feels separate from the lips due to its powdery texture. It lacks adherence, making gradients difficult, and is prone to the 'yogurt' effect. (This observation was added after two weeks of use, updating my previous review of shade 15.)
TipTips to minimize case staining: Extend the lipstick slightly more than 1cm or apply at an angle to reduce product buildup in the case. Use with lip balm: Applying over lip balm can eliminate the floating feeling and create a beautiful, well-adhered color. While we bought it for its matte finish, using a lip balm can help mitigate issues like settling into lines and lack of adherence.
