I use this as a standalone cleanser in the morning and as a second cleanse in the evening. It's so much better than the Avène blue cleanser! Recommended for sensitive, acne-prone combination/dry skin Although it's a cleansing 'cream', the texture is between a cream and a gel, so it lathers up more than expected It doesn't leave your skin feeling squeaky clean, but that's actually good - those super-stripping cleansers can be too drying.
