As someone with extremely sensitive and dry skin, I've been struggling. Recently, organic sunscreens kept irritating my skin, so I thought they weren't suitable and wandered into the world of mineral sunscreens. But they were just too drying, so I decided to give organic another shot with La Roche-Posay. And wow, it's really good! It's incredibly hydrating, and even though my skin was angry, it didn't sting at all. I'm loving it!
ConsThe large size might be an issue? Sunscreen should be used up quickly... I haven't tried applying makeup over it yet, but since it's quite rich, it might be a bit challenging.
TipI noticed there's an ingredient in here that's been controversial for potentially causing cancer. But after looking into it, I found out that the type used in cosmetics is different. They also limit the amount to ensure it's within safe levels, so no need to worry!

I purchased it without hesitation because the Avène brand is known for its good ingredients.
ConsThe formula was a bit thick, so there was a heavy feeling after application, which was a bit disappointing.
TipIt's great to wear when I'm out and about with a bare face!

But this one hasn't caused any breakouts! I usually use mineral sunscreens because they're less harsh on the skin, even though they can clog pores and feel heavy. But the Sid* Mineral Daily Milk sunscreen has been great. I wasn't fully satisfied at first because the SPF was a bit low, so I tried the Dr. Jart* one, but that ended up irritating my skin, so I came back to this one. It's definitely gentle enough for even babies to use, with a high SPF and no skin issues for me. I'm really happy with the 100ml size too - my skin even has a nice glow from it!
ConsThe only downside is that the sunscreen opening is slightly recessed, so you have to be careful when applying it. As someone with dry skin who likes a dewy finish, I find it works well, but those with oily skin may find it a bit too rich.
TipIf you have sensitive skin and are looking for a gentle, high SPF mineral sunscreen, I'd recommend giving this one a try. Oh, and be sure to pat it in gently for best absorption!
