  Pros

  1. When my skin became super sensitive and even Physiogel wasn't suitable, an Olive Young staff member recommended this as the gentlest product with excellent hydration when I asked for their mildest, most moisturizing option. 2. The texture feels rich, suggesting it's packed with nourishing ingredients. 3. Despite its rich consistency, it doesn't leave a greasy residue. Instead, it absorbs quickly, leaving the skin's surface feeling soft and supple.

  Cons

  1. The ingredients weren't as gentle as expected. After 2-3 days of use, my skin turned red and irritated (I hadn't worn any makeup during this time), so I had to stop using it. Now I'm applying it to dry areas like elbows and knees to avoid waste. 2. It seems unsuitable for use under makeup. It might be better as a night-time treatment. 3. However, it doesn't feel moisturizing enough for nighttime use alone. You might need to layer it with an oil. The smooth finish is both a pro and a con - it creates a surface that's not ideal for layering other products. 4. Please remove the fragrance! The scent is irritating, and it's harsh on the skin.

  Tip

  While it's not great for facial use, it works wonderfully on hands and body. However, the price per volume is quite high for that purpose...

  As soon as you apply it, your skin feels as soft as if it's been soaked in hot spring water. The texture isn't heavy, yet you can feel it filling in deep dryness.

  Cons

  I had to stop using it due to an allergic reaction. I bought it after trying a small sample and liking it, but when I apply this product, I experience overall redness and itching on my skin shortly after. This never happens with other products. The fragrance is also quite strong, to the point where it's off-putting.

  Tip

  This might be suitable for those with dry skin who don't want oiliness and have less sensitive skin without allergies. I recommend testing the scent at a drugstore before purchasing.

  Pros

  The packaging is beautiful. It's an Avène product. The cream feels a bit richer than Physiogel. It has the perfect level of hydration for winter, especially for those with very oily skin.

  Cons

  The fragrance is a bit strong. If you pet your cat after applying it, even your feline friend will smell like artificial cosmetics. The biggest drawback is the burning sensation on your face after application. I thought my skin had become more sensitive, so I tried extra care and even took breaks between uses, but it was always the same. It seems this product just doesn't work for me...

  Tip

  It works great as a hand cream!

  Pros

  I bought this on an Olive Young employee's recommendation. It doesn't make my face feel tight. While it feels a bit heavy when first applied, that sensation seems to lessen as it absorbs. They suggest patting it in gently as you apply.

  Cons

  When I use this, I feel a burning sensation and blemishes start appearing all over my face, looking red and irritated. Small bumps pop up everywhere, like tiny grains... I've experienced a tingling sensation with Avene mist before, so maybe there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with my super sensitive skin. I bought it on sale, but I'm disappointed it didn't work out for me.

  Pros

  I'm currently using Avène Hydrance Emulsion along with Hydrance Rehydrating Serum and Cleanance Expert Emulsion. It's a cream that provides just the right amount of hydration - neither too rich nor too light. When used in this order, it moisturizes beautifully, leaving my skin feeling well-hydrated. While it may not be a functional cosmetic for whitening or wrinkle improvement, I love how it maintains a comfortable level of moisture without making my skin feel suffocated when considering its hydrating power. Plus, like most Avène products, the fragrance is mild and non-irritating, which I really appreciate.

  Cons

  I think it would be even better if it came in a tube type rather than a jar.

  Tip

  It's convenient to use with the included scoop to dispense just the right amount. Personally, I've always disliked jar-type creams because they're exposed to air every time you open them. So, I've been using this by only removing about half of the seal when first opening it. Of course, this doesn't completely prevent exposure, but it gives me peace of mind feeling like there's less contact with air, so that's how I've been using it.

  Pros

  I applied this after using 3 serums and while it wasn't extremely hydrating, my cheeks, which are naturally very dry, felt a bit parched. However, this is the best cream I've used so far. When I apply it before bed, it really elevates my skin to its best condition by the next morning.

  Cons

  - The ingredients aren't great, but oddly enough, many products with less-than-ideal ingredients work well for my skin, so I try not to worry too much about that. - The amount you get for the price is disappointing... It's really good, but the cost makes me hesitate to repurchase. - My cheeks are very dry, so no matter how much I apply, they still feel tight. If it were just a bit more hydrating, it would be perfect.
