Be sure to use products with tea tree oil that are suitable for your skin type. Especially in the summer, no matter how light the product you apply, your skin may feel a bit tight, and in the morning your skin may be overly oily. This product is a must-have for those with that issue. I've used it on my chin and forehead where I have a lot of stubborn clogged pores, and it's been effective in controlling excess oil and sebum. When used as a cleansing balm, it really dries out the oil - no more greasiness like a drought. Controlling the oil means my skin looks great the next morning without any excess shine. At first, you may think the cleansing balm is too drying, but when you touch your skin, there's no dryness or roughness at all - it just feels smooth and supple, with the oil completely removed. ☆I'll share the most important tip for getting the best use out of this product in the 'Tip' section.

I wouldn't recommend this for dry skin types. It's not a moisturizing product, but rather one that really grabs onto and controls excess oil.

After using the cleansing balm, you should immediately apply a moisturizer on top. Also, over time, oily and combination skin types may experience some oil resurfacing. If you leave that oil there, it can lead to painful breakouts when touched. If your skin feels dry, mist it lightly in between, and use this product to gently wipe away any oil that comes up, just like when cleansing. This will keep your skin texture smooth and effectively remove excess oil. You don't want to overdo it though - twice a day is ideal.

Pros

The oil control is definitely effective. It doesn't cause any breakouts and seems to work well. But there isn't a huge difference whether I use it or not. It's an average product.
Cons
It has a similar feel to witch hazel... Leaves a drying sensation after use. The derma e toner I used before didn't make my skin feel dehydrated even when I just applied the toner. This one gets absorbed quickly but seems to strip away the existing moisture in my skin, making it dry out fast. It's not as drying or irritating as the witch hazel I used before, but I probably won't repurchase it. I'll have to switch back to derma e.
