- Leaves skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. After cleansing, touching your cheeks gives a truly moisture-rich sensation. - The sweet scent is mood-lifting. - Easier to rinse off compared to other wash-off masks. - Wish it came in a larger size. - It's scheduled to be discontinued, but I really hope they keep selling it. - Rinse off before it completely dries. - For gentle exfoliation, lightly dampen the surface when cleansing, then massage very gently with relaxed hands. - su********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2020
If you're a fan of chocolate scents, you'll absolutely love this! It leaves your skin feeling moisturized and velvety smooth. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate scents. However, I still bought it because the results are so good. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2020
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, excessive sebum, flaky skin that can't even handle foundation, and blackheads - basically the worst skin ever - I was already using Cup O' Coffee as a scrub and mask for exfoliation. But then a staff member recommended this, so I decided to give it a try. Unlike Mask of Magnaminty or Cup O' Coffee, this one doesn't have any granules, so it applies super smoothly without any skin irritation. It's slightly moist when you open the lid, so you need to mix it well with a brush before use. But that moisture really shows in the results - after rinsing off the mask, my skin feels incredibly soft and hydrated. I didn't expect it to get rid of large blackheads, but I was hoping it would remove the gritty-feeling sebum and dead skin cells. I'm really satisfied with how it seems to have cleared those up. It's a product that truly works hard for your skin! The initial scent is like a sweet foreign chocolate, but once applied, it develops into an odd fragrance that's either floral or artificial banana. At first, it's reminiscent of banana-flavored snacks dipped in chocolate, then it shifts to something like brownie dough with nuts. It's a bit of a confusing scent. However, since it's just a mask that you only need to keep on for 10 minutes, the fragrance isn't unbearable. This product is soon to be discontinued. If you're concerned about blemishes, I really urge you to try it at least once before it's gone. - je*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2020
It has a chocolate scent! But not just any chocolate - it's like a floral chocolate! Interestingly, when washing it off after the mask, it reminds me of the Noma Gold candy I used to eat as a kid. I love it! Recently, I've been dealing with excess sebum and whiteheads, so I went to Lush. The staff recommended this product! (They suggested Magnaminty for daily use, but I found it so-so when I tried it before, so they recommended this instead!) With Lush products, we all know they make your skin super soft. After using this mask, it seems to bring whiteheads to the surface, making them easier to extract. They're practically ready to pop! I'll need to use it for a bit longer to fully appreciate its benefits, but so far, so good! No downsides yet! I'll update if I find any. Fingers crossed I won't! I've heard that wash-off masks can be hard to remove completely. Any residue left behind can cause blemishes, so I make sure to follow up with a foam cleanser after using the mask. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2020
While the price is a bit wicked, this Lush mask is truly amazing! I recently became interested in Lush products and decided to give this a try. The scent is absolutely divine - like chocolate! It's so delightful, I can't get enough of it. This mask is perfect for those with super sensitive skin. The exfoliating particles are incredibly fine (especially compared to something like Mask of Magnaminty), making it gentle enough for even the most delicate skin. After using it, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated. I love the scent so much that I use it in the morning to start my day on a refreshing note! The only slight drawback is that when you rinse off the mask, your sink might end up looking like a chocolate river! But honestly, that's easily managed with a bit of care, so I can't really say there's anything I dislike about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 4, 2020
The brownie scent is incredibly rich. It really feels like you're waiting for chocolate to set on your face, so be careful not to accidentally eat it! There's also a hint of mint, I think, which gives a wonderful cooling sensation and even helps reduce redness. Since it's a mask that needs refrigeration, it's great to use during a shower or bath. However, the texture doesn't dry or harden, so it might drip or fall off below your neck. Be careful not to let it stain your clothes as it has a slightly sandy texture that's hard to remove. It works perfectly if you apply it to your face before showering or bathing, keeping your face as dry as possible, and then cleanse at the end. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated and refreshingly cool. - pg*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2020
I originally used BBCwith, but someone suggested trying something good for sebum control during summer, so I gave this a shot. I mainly used it on my T-zone where I produce a lot of oil. However, even after finishing the whole bottle, I didn't notice any significant effects. After rinsing, there's a slight feeling of hydration, but other than that, I didn't really feel any benefits in terms of sebum control, cooling, soothing, or moisture retention. I've tried Cosmetic Warrior, Catastrophe Cosmetic, Love Lettuce, and others, but honestly, BBCwith and Mask of Magnaminty are still the best... Water keeps separating, so you have to mix it well before use. Even though I keep it in the fridge, it's not cool enough for a cooling effect. Also, it's too thick, making it difficult to apply - gh****Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2020
Sweet scent. After use, there's a definite feeling of softer skin. Some reviews mentioned it was more irritating than Mask of Magnaminty, but I actually found this more comfortable. It can also be used as a scrub. Great for gentle pore cleansing, dead skin cell removal, and overall skin care. I wonder if this actually has weaker cleansing effectiveness than Magnaminty. Maybe it's because I used a small amount for less than a month, but I was hoping it would absorb the sebum in my nose pores, which it didn't quite do... Though to be fair, that level of cleansing might be too harsh anyway. Still, it was a decent product. There was a noticeable difference in skin texture. I'm considering giving it another try with more dedication next time. Cleanse thoroughly and apply a thick layer. Don't apply it thinly where your skin color shows through! - su*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 28, 2020
After applying a thin layer and waiting for 10 minutes, I gently exfoliated with the tiny granules while rinsing it off. My skin felt so hydrated afterwards! I also loved the fragrance - it's like a delightful blend of chocolate and nuts?! The only downside was a slight tingling sensation on my face during the 10-minute wait. Thankfully, there were no issues after rinsing it off, which was a relief! The Lush employee mentioned that this product works particularly well for those with oily skin! - si****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMar 12, 2020
I bought this on a staff recommendation in Japan, but the results were underwhelming. I won't be repurchasing... I actually preferred Cup O' Coffee more.
