A little goes a long way! Oil Content: - As it's an eye serum, it's quite rich in oils. I even applied it around my mouth to target fine lines there! Application: - It absorbs beautifully, leaving the skin feeling deeply moisturized. When I wake up in the morning, I can really see how much brighter my eye area looks. It's amazing! That's the power of Vitamin C for you! Brightening Effect: Value for Money: - The only downside is the amount you get for the price. It's a shame because everything else is great, but this makes me hesitant about repurchasing. I've deducted one star just for this reason.
ConsThere's a warming sensation that can cause a burning or tingling feeling when applied. Those with super sensitive skin should take note of this.

The texture is a rich, buttery consistency that feels deeply moisturizing and nourishing when applied to the eye area. Absorption: Despite its rich texture, I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it absorbs into the skin, even in summer weather. It's not too heavy for summer use. Scent: It's nearly fragrance-free with a slight medicinal scent, but it's so subtle that it's not bothersome at all. The natural aroma isn't artificial, which I personally appreciate! Hydration & Application: You can feel the moisturizing effect immediately upon application! Unlike some eye creams that just sit on top of the skin, this one absorbs quickly. When applied at night, it keeps the skin hydrated until morning. It's also great for morning use as it doesn't cause makeup to pill, making it versatile for both day and night routines! Gentleness: With the humid weather and mask-wearing making my skin more sensitive, I've been looking for gentle skincare products. This eye cream is non-irritating and mild, so I can apply it without worrying about the weather or mask-related skin issues.
ConsDark Circle Improvement: I've only been using the product for about ten days since receiving it, which is a bit short to see significant improvement in dark circles. I think I'll need to use it longer to really tell. In this short period, I haven't noticed any dramatic brightening around my eyes. Price: At 70,000 won for 15ml, it's on the pricier side for the amount you get.
TipTip: Gently pat the product for better absorption. Tip: Applying it before bed seems to make makeup application smoother in the morning. Tip: You might also see some wrinkle improvement if you apply it to smile lines.

Texture The texture feels more like a rich, concentrated cream rather than a serum~ It has a slightly yellow color and a buttery feel to it^^ 2. Application When applied to the back of the hand, it has a slight sheen, but when applied around the eyes, it dries to a matte finish without any shine~ Some eye creams can be too glossy and oily after application, often getting into the eyes, but this one doesn't do that, which I really like~ * I'm not sure if this is normal or just me, but I feel a slight warmth when applying it around the eyes. Perhaps because of this, it seems to absorb even better~
ConsThe downside is that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. However, if it effectively treats dark circles and wrinkles, the price wouldn't matter as much. Since I haven't been using it for long, I'll need to use it more to see its true effects^^
TipAs the texture is quite rich for a serum, I found it more hydrating to apply a lighter, water-based essence in the previous step before using this product^^

I applied for this product with some confidence since it's from Kiehl's, and luckily I was selected to try it out. The texture is quite rich. It doesn't absorb smoothly, but rather feels like applying a thick cream to your eyes. However, it's moisturizing, so I didn't experience any dryness around my eyes. I've tried eye creams from Eucerin and AHC before, but this one feels the heaviest. I usually get blemishes on my eyelids when a product doesn't suit me, but despite its richness, this cream didn't cause any issues at all. They seem to promote it as good for dark circles due to its vitamin content, but honestly, I'm not sure about that effect. I think you'd need to use up the whole jar to really tell. For me, an eye cream passes if it doesn't cause any blemishes on the eyelids, and this one is good in that aspect. Plus, it keeps my skin moisturized until the next morning, which is great.
ConsPerhaps due to the vitamin content, it stings a bit when applied to the eyelids. So I only apply it under my eyes, which seems fine. I think it's because the skin around the eyes is quite delicate. Also, when doing eye makeup, even if I control oil with Innisfree No Sebum powder on my eyelids before applying eyeshadow, the eyeshadow still clumps up because of this eye cream. Given the stinging sensation and makeup issues, I think it's best not to apply it on the eyelids. It also stings when applied to the outer corners of the eyes. Lastly, I believe the full-size product costs around 70,000 won. It's not really worth buying at that price...
TipBecause it's so rich, you need to apply some pressure if you're using it on its own. I found it works well when I apply it right after toner, while my face is still slightly damp from the toner.

Otherwise, it can feel a bit clumpy if applied too thickly. Scent: 4.5/5 It's actually close to fragrance-free, which makes it feel gentler than other eye products with floral scents. I appreciated that it seemed free of added fragrances. Effectiveness: 5/5 Honestly, I don't usually have severe dark circles, so I often don't notice much effect from other eye products. However, this one made my under-eye area look brighter, as if I'd gotten under-eye filler, even though I don't have dark circles! As a result, even when my makeup started to fade after wearing it for a long time, I didn't look tired or give off that impression. I'd recommend those concerned about dark circles to give this a try consistently!
ConsThe main drawback is definitely the absorption... It feels heavy and thick, especially for summer use. Once it's absorbed, your skin feels super soft, but applying it requires so much pressure that I worried I might be creating wrinkles in the direction I was spreading it...

However, this eye cream didn't cause any irritation. The texture is rich (somewhat similar to Aesop's moisturizer), but it absorbs well and doesn't cause pilling under makeup, so I've been using it comfortably in the morning too. After about a week of use, I feel it's helping with my dark circles. I'm satisfied with this product.
ConsThere's a warming sensation when applied. It's not hot, but this might be a love-it-or-hate-it feature for some. Also, if you're looking for a very hydrating feel, you might find this slightly lacking. Personally, I didn't mind it. If I see significant improvement in my dark circles after finishing the product, I'd consider repurchasing.

It's truly amazing - whether applied after toner or on bare skin, it sinks in immediately and layers well with other creams. The pump packaging is hygienic, and one pump is enough for the eye area, mouth area, and between the brows. If you're only applying to the eyes, half a pump should suffice. The container is excellent, and I really love how the size fits perfectly in your hand. Since it's a vitamin-infused cream, it's great for preventing dark spots and blemishes when used regularly. I usually use Alive:Lab Vitamin Powder + Multi Ice Cream, so I'm thrilled there's a separate eye product now. Despite its rich texture, it doesn't cause any pilling with makeup, probably because it absorbs so quickly. For those using vitamin creams, remember that sunscreen is a must - without it, dark spots and blemishes can worsen. Always apply sunscreen!
ConsI'm not sure if it's just me, but it feels warm on the skin? This sensation was new to me and quite surprising. While it didn't cause any blemishes, the applied areas all felt warm, and when I applied it to my entire face, there was a significant heat sensation. I had to follow up with a soothing cream right after use because it was so warm. I'm not sure if this is just my skin's reaction or if others experience this too... Another point, which I'm not sure is a drawback or not, is that it absorbs so well that those with dry skin might not even notice they've applied it. It's like a pro and a con at the same time. Even after using this product, my skin feels as dry as it would if I hadn't applied anything after cleansing. It's both surprising and... well, you definitely need to follow up with a moisturizing cream. Also, I haven't noticed any brightening effect around the eyes yet, but I still believe in the power of vitamins!
TipIf you want a richer feel, try mixing it with a soothing cream rather than an oil. It absorbs so well that it pairs nicely with other textures. Personally, I'll have to wait until I finish the product to decide whether to repurchase, but its quick absorption has me leaning towards buying it again! Go vitamins, fight aging!
