I haven't tried the Veil before, but it seems good. And the scent is also nice and refreshing.

The texture was smooth and pleasant. It wasn't oily or greasy, but had a light, in-between consistency of a skin toner and essence. I'm glad it didn't cause any breakouts.

Pros
The product provided a nice moisturizing feel and helped address dryness. It seemed to even out the skin tone rather than brighten it. It helped control redness and made the different tones across the face (around the nose, under the eyes, around the mouth) more uniform. It didn't actually make the skin brighter though.
Cons
The watery, runny formula of the ampoule was inconvenient to use. For the first 3 days or so, there was a slight stinging sensation. However, the feeling was similar even when using it after exfoliating.
