As I've aged and my skin has become drier (there was a time when I thought, 'Why would I ever need to apply cream?'), I found that shea butter alone wasn't enough for hydration anymore. That's why I've come to appreciate the lasting power of mineral oil and petrolatum in body products, which is why I love the Curel Ultra Healing Emulsion. As another reviewer mentioned, it's the epitome of body emulsions - it absorbs well, has great lasting power, provides deep hydration, and doesn't leave a greasy or sticky residue. This product is quite similar to the Ultra Healing one.
ConsThis one is more expensive than Ultra Healing, but I can't really tell the difference. There's barely any scent, but if I had to describe it, it has a faint rubber smell. Recommended for very dry and dry skin types, but might be too rich for oily skin. It contains mineral oil and parabens, so skip it if you're not comfortable with those ingredients. I only use it on my body, not on my face.
TipIf you need even more hydration, try mixing in a bit of Vaseline when you apply it.
