The reason I initially stopped using it was because of the guilt over the syringe-like packaging seeming to use too much plastic unnecessarily, but I've always been satisfied with its effectiveness. After not using it for a while, I desperately needed it after my hippie perm, and I found out they now have a large tube version :) The changed packaging eases my conscience a bit. I have thin, straight hair with an oily scalp, and my hair gets very damaged from coloring or perming. Using this product consistently after treatments means less damage for the next salon visit, which is great. My hair feels weightier, giving the impression that it's nourished. The intensity of 'scolding' I get from my hairstylist differs noticeably when I use this product regularly versus when I don't. When I use it consistently, I don't get scolded... I also rarely received recommendations for clinic treatments. Once again, I'm hoping it will help my poor locks that have been damaged by frequent coloring and a hippie perm.
ConsIf you leave it on for too long, it seems to cause blemishes on the scalp. I've been leaving it on for 30 minutes lately because I don't like heat treatments, and while my hair improved, I got blemishes on my scalp. Now I only apply it to my hair, leave it on for a long time, then wash it off and spray houttuynia cordata mist to soothe my scalp.
Tip- Make sure to squeeze out excess water from your hair and comb thoroughly with your fingers - Gently massage before putting on the cap, and again after removing it - On days when you have time, leave it on for longer, but even a 5-minute treatment in the morning might show effects - For those who get breakouts due to oiliness when it touches the scalp, be careful not to let it touch your scalp. I found that applying Head Spa Seven's hair loss prevention treatment to the scalp seems to provide some protection!

ConsThe packaging is inconvenient and gives the impression of unnecessary plastic waste. More importantly, I developed small blemishes near my jawline where my hair touches my skin. When I stopped using this product, they went away. It seems the ingredients don't agree with my skin.

After applying, my curly hair becomes neat and calm.
ConsThis is partly my fault, but when I applied it all over my hair while drying, I got a breakout on my forehead. I usually only apply it to the ends of my hair. I've been struggling for a week now. Be careful not to let it touch your face. I have oily, sensitive skin, and I just realized it can cause blemishes.

Each syringe contains 25ml, and for my hair length, it seemed like I'd need to use a whole one. I only used about two-thirds of it, focusing on the bleached parts. The texture was thick and creamy, similar to other treatments. After using it, my hair felt silky smooth when brushing, with no tangles or stickiness. I didn't even need to use a hair essence afterwards! (I left it on for 20 minutes.) As someone trying to minimize the number of products I use, this was great for me! I used to use Nature Republic, which required a hair essence... But due to the ingredients, I'm still on the hunt for the perfect hair pack.
ConsThey say the formula was renewed after the humidifier incident, but I'm not sure if the ingredients are really that gentle. It contains shea butter and coconut oil. While I didn't use it on my scalp, I know shea butter can cause breakouts when used on my face. For those avoiding PEGs and dimethicone, take note before purchasing! The product comes in a syringe format, which I found inconvenient. I think a pump dispenser would be much easier to use.
