I absolutely love that this emulsion comes in a pump bottle, allowing me to dispense just the right amount I need. Plus, it's great that the formula isn't exposed to air. There's no particular scent, and you can think of it as a gentle, creamy emulsion. It gives that feeling of being enough on its own, you know? I use it right after cleansing as my first skincare step, or sometimes as the final step in my routine. It doesn't feel particularly oily, but it's not super light either - just a nice, versatile product that works well for me. If you're expecting a lot of hydration, you might find it a bit lacking. - kj*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 11, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The packaging is simple yet attractive, and the container feels luxurious. The pump dispenser makes it easy to control the amount. Being fragrance-free, it's likely to suit everyone without polarizing opinions. The texture is a typical emulsion that absorbs well into the skin without being too runny, sticky, or slippery. As I'm used to lighter formulas, I found it a bit heavy and only applied it before bed. It provides decent hydration for this time of year, though those with dry skin might find it insufficient on its own. I didn't notice any wrinkle-reducing effects, but that could be due to the short period of use. The lid tends to collect fingerprints, which might make it look messy. It may not be enough moisture alone for winter use. Also, the price point is a bit high. - ji********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I have combination skin, and it felt a bit dry when used alone, probably because my skin's been drier lately. I shared it with my mom who has dry skin, and she said it works well when mixed with oil. While it may not excel in whitening or anti-wrinkle effects as much as expected, I think it's a decent emulsion that doesn't cause blemishes. Hmm, it might be too light to use on its own in winter. I plan to use it only as a pre-makeup step once winter comes around. - ba*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The absorption is just right. • Hydration: Initially, there's a slight tightening sensation in the deeper layers of skin, but it feels more like it's toning the skin rather than drying it out. As it's an emulsion, you'll need to supplement the moisture with essences, etc. • Residue: After absorption, it's not super hydrating, but leaves a slight richness on the skin. To elaborate: On the first day, there's a slight warming sensation (not quite a burning feeling) while it's absorbing. As it absorbs, you feel a slight tightening of the skin. Worried it might be dryness, I touched my face and found moisture remaining, but the tightening sensation in the deeper layers persisted even when moving facial muscles. (This sensation remained even when applying my usual essence or cream) The next day, I still felt the slight warmth during absorption and tightness afterwards, but this gradually disappeared with daily use. * Adding this after using it for another month post-Hwahae Testers review: When I apply it at night, my skin feels smooth in the morning when I wash my face. Of course, it washes off, but knowing it's been smoothly enveloping my skin all night gives me a unique feeling compared to other products. It's like a sense that my skin might be improving! As I prefer a fresh finish, I'm a bit disappointed with the residue after absorption. It's not so much a moisturized feeling, but more like a slight oiliness remaining. Oh! And I was a bit let down by the initial impression of the packaging - the box was large and used bubble wrap. Please consider more environmentally friendly packaging. As it's an emulsion, you can't expect dramatic results on its own. It's not special, but it's a given that you should pair it with essences or creams suitable for your skin type. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedSep 21, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I've never praised a product like this before... I currently have 4 toners and 5 serums at home, haha! I'm a bit of a skincare nomad and can never seem to finish a product. But with this one, I think I'll actually buy another when it runs out. Except for the wicked price, everything about it is perfect. However, I'm not sure where to buy it? The brand itself seems difficult to purchase from, with low accessibility. Let me describe the product: When I first applied it, it felt heavy. My skin isn't particularly sensitive, but if something feels even slightly heavy, I usually wake up with a big blemish the next day. So when I first put it on, I thought, 'Oh no, I'm going to wake up with a bump on my forehead!' It felt really heavy at first. But after about 2 minutes, whether it absorbed or evaporated, I'm not sure, but that heaviness disappeared. And the next morning, I realized: this is my holy grail product. When skin has the right oil and moisture balance, the texture becomes soft and you can noticeably see a reduction in dead skin cells and sebum production. That's what this product did for me. I've tried other slightly acidic products before and thought they were okay, but this one was perfect for me. It might only work this well for me specifically, but I really love it. The next morning, I woke up and my skin texture had become so smooth. Honestly, I can't say anything about its wrinkle-improving abilities after just a week of use, but I can confidently say that out of all the emulsions I've ever used, this one suits me the best. The price. It's 45,000 won... I'll have to use it sparingly. Plus, when I run out and want to buy it myself, I tried searching online but couldn't find any results. The accessibility is really poor. - bh*******Normal SkinAtopic SkinSep 20, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's hard to find unscented products these days, and honestly, there's no real need for fragrance. Plus, when you check the ingredient list of scented products, nine times out of ten you'll find questionable components. So even before diving into the ingredients, this product already earned my trust. While I can't speak for deep winter yet, I'm impressed that even in this transitional season, my skin doesn't feel tight or dehydrated hours after application. This suggests it has decent hydration power. I've used it during hormonal changes and when my sleep schedule was off, making my skin super sensitive. Even then, I didn't experience any discomfort. I'm not entirely convinced it's worth splurging on. It would be great if they could switch to eco-friendly packaging. - db**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 19, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Absorbs well Unlike the heavy, sticky emulsions we typically use, this one is light and glides on smoothly, feeling more like a sunscreen. When applied, it leaves a white cast like sunscreen but finishes with a smooth, soft feel. 2. Less oily I always look for less oily products, and this one feels more hydrating than oily when applied. After application, it doesn't leave a sticky residue but rather a slightly matte finish. 3. No irritation With my sensitive skin, I sometimes experience a burning sensation when applying products incorrectly, but this one went on smoothly without any issues. + It also has a soothing effect. 1. Slight deep dryness Perhaps due to my combination dehydrated skin, I felt a bit of inner dryness after some time. Those with dry skin might find this slightly disappointing. 2. Packaging looks weak The plastic packaging makes it look a bit flimsy and somewhat cheap (reminds me of a certain brand). 3. Expensive price 45,000 won for 100ml seems too pricey. 4. Wrinkle improvement? I'm not sure about this claim. 5. Absorption It tends to sit on the skin's surface, absorbing slowly. You need to keep patting it in for better absorption. Those with dry skin should use this product along with others. One pump is sufficient. As it absorbs slowly, pat it in thoroughly for best results. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It looks neat and clean when only these two products are on my vanity. Though I was worried it might be too rich since it's an anti-wrinkle functional product, it feels refreshing, perhaps because it's not targeting an older age group. I was concerned about pore-clogging ingredients, but when used every other day, it didn't cause any product-induced blemishes. The scent wasn't bothersome at all while using it. Even those who dislike artificial fragrances might be able to use this without worry. When used alone! It seems the hydration doesn't last as long as it feels refreshing. Recommended for those who dislike sticky textures, but if you need moisture that can withstand heater air, this alone might not be enough. Personal preference, but the amount dispensed per pump is small. Since the pump itself makes it easy to control the amount, it would be nice if this could be improved. It's hard to expect wrinkle improvement from cosmetics. I didn't notice any effects on elasticity increase or wrinkle reduction. It might be better to think of it as a moisturizer for peace of mind. Overall: Is this an anti-wrinkle functional product for people in their 20s? It seems good for those who don't want overly rich nourishment but still want functional ingredients included. If you desperately need wrinkle improvement, you should visit a dermatologist! Cosmetics are just cosmetics after all. - v_**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It creates a protective barrier on the skin without feeling sticky, which is great for those with dry skin like me as it prevents the skin from drying out. However, those with oily skin might feel a bit suffocated. Personally, I prefer this kind of application over ones that are too light or heavy like nourishing creams! ☆ After-application feel No stickiness, no shine, feels powdery but with inner hydration ☆ Other benefits No blemish-causing ingredients, can be applied even when skin is sensitive I didn't experience any! However, due to the nature of the formula, those with oily skin might feel a bit suffocated after application. To properly experience this product's feel, I minimized the use of other cosmetics! After using a ceramide toner, I applied the 'Banobagi Rejuvenating Vital Emulsion' followed by eye cream. Even with just this, my cheeks didn't feel dry and it felt like it was preventing moisture loss. When I felt I needed a bit more hydration (in the evening), I patted on some toner after cleansing to replenish moisture, then applied the Rejuvenating Vital Emulsion again. This eliminated the need for a separate cream. The best part is that I've been getting small, bumpy blemishes around my mouth due to wearing masks, but applying this product didn't cause stinging or worsen the condition. Instead, it prevented dryness, reducing itchiness. I recommend it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Texture: Perfect for the upcoming fall season! 2. Packaging: The simple design looks clean and sleek. The pump-type container is convenient to use. 3. Scent: I loved that it's almost fragrance-free! (As someone who dislikes strong scents, this was a great product for me) 4. Application: The product absorbs smoothly and evenly. 5. Absorption: It retains some moisture when applied to the skin. (This can vary from person to person! My sister experienced deep dryness quickly, but I found it moisturizing enough even when used alone after cleansing!) <Cons> 1. It was oilier than expected. It's not exactly a lightweight product and might be a bit heavy for midsummer use! (This is just my personal opinion^^) 2. Perhaps because of this, I felt like my face was a bit greasier than usual in the morning. Or was it just my imagination? 3. Since I've only used it for a short time, I can't really tell if it's improved my wrinkles yet. For winter, this might be a bit light to use on its own. I'd recommend using a toner before and layering a light moisturizer on top for best results.
