The 'Newtinol Toner' has a clear, ampoule-like texture that's more substantial than typical toners. It provides excellent hydration right after cleansing, feeling as if you've applied a nourishing ampoule!

It has a somewhat viscous texture, so make sure to let it absorb well. I recommend layering it twice at night for best results.

However, it can be a bit drying when used alone (the finish isn't particularly moisturizing), so you definitely need to apply another hydrating product on top.

After using this, those pesky dead skin cells completely vanished! My skin texture became incredibly smooth. Just give it three months, and you'll see a real difference.

The formula is a bit heavy for summer, making it more suitable for winter use.

The bakuchiol ingredient seems to work wonders for combination skin. It quickly calms down blemishes.

To be honest, what I loved most was the sleek and elegant packaging, making it an ideal gift option. It's a versatile, crowd-pleasing basic skin toner. The outer cover can be removed and separated, and I've been collecting them as I think they could be great for upcycling into leather crafts!

While there weren't any particularly outstanding features, I couldn't find any significant drawbacks either.

I really appreciated the viscous texture that's more hydrating and moisturizing than a typical watery toner, along with its pleasant, subtle scent. I used it as a set with the cream, and even in summer, it wasn't heavy. In fact, it seemed to soothe my sun-irritated skin, which was very satisfying.

It's a bit inconvenient that the container is opaque, so I can't see how much I've used. It's just an average skincare product, so I couldn't really tell if my skin improved or not.

I have combination dehydrated skin with a bit of deep dryness. My skin tends to produce more oil in summer. For my skin, this feels more like an essence than a toner. In hot weather like now, layering it twice eliminates the need for an emulsion. While using this, I only need to apply an extra layer of eye cream. Despite having super sensitive skin, I experience no irritation or blemishes.

It pairs exceptionally well with Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum. I recommend trying the trial kit, which allows you to test it without much commitment.

Layering it multiple times definitely enhances the effect, but due to its viscosity, you end up using quite a bit of product.

The absorption, hydration, and gentleness are all excellent. While you might not notice changes in the first few days, after a week your skin becomes noticeably smoother.

The cosmetic container is made of leather and quite practical, so instead of throwing it away, you could remove the stopper from the opening and repurpose it for something else.

While it helps with surface dryness, it doesn't quite tackle deep dryness. It feels more like an essence. It might be better suited for winter use rather than summer.

Scent: It's unscented, so it should appeal to everyone. The packaging is simple and wrapped in leather, which gives it a clean look - I like that! Being a vegan product, it stands out from the packaging onwards. The consistency is great - it's not as runny as a typical toner, so it doesn't drip everywhere. It has a nice viscosity. When you first apply it, there's a slight slip to it, almost like an essence. It feels nourishing, like you've applied a rich essence. It goes on moisturizing and absorbs gently into the skin. The ingredients are mild, and I haven't experienced any blemishes, so I'm using it happily.

This is personal, but when I apply it around my eyes, it causes dead skin cells to appear. At first, I thought it might be an issue with the ingredients, but it didn't happen when I used it in summer, so it's probably due to dryness. However, it's my fault for not bothering to apply eye cream. In winter, it's better to use this with additional moisturizer rather than on its own.

I tried bakuchiol for the first time and it worked well for me. While it's not extremely hydrating, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after application (except around the eyes). I love that I can apply multiple layers without it feeling greasy. This product really makes my skin feel soft. Even when my chin area was flaky in winter, just a little bit of this toner made it smooth.

I'm satisfied with other products too, so there's nothing particularly disappointing about this one.

Once you try this, you can't go back to other toners. It's a must-repurchase. Stock up when it's on sale!

If gentleness is your only criteria, this toner might be the safest bet to minimize risks. As for me, since I'm looking to improve both skin texture and deep hydration, I'll have to continue my search for the perfect toner.

Honestly, there's not much to dislike. If anything, perhaps the confusing name...? Usually, when you hear 'toner', you think of something light to wipe off, but this is more like a hydrating skin that really absorbs into the skin.
