Hwahae Tester Review * Original skin type: Combination dehydrated skin (recently balancing oil and moisture with oil products) * Current skin condition: Redness, disrupted oil-moisture balance, dullness (possibly due to prolonged mask use) * Usage period: 8/20-26 (one week) used as essence every evening * Routine: Cleansing (low pH) - Toner (exfoliating) - Black Tea Youth Enhancing Ampoule (evenings only) - Emulsion-type cream After using exfoliating toner, apply about 3 drops of essence evenly, pat it in, then apply cream * Texture: Slightly viscous and sticky due to its mucus-like consistency. Absorbs well when patted in, so the stickiness isn't bothersome. For dehydrated skin that's feeling dry from mask use, this essence provides ample hydration with a slight oiliness, making skin look good. A light cream afterwards seems sufficient for skincare (* Before using this product, I always added a drop of jojoba oil to my cream) * Review after use: Very satisfied with this product. Though I've only used it for a week, I can see significant improvement in my skin when I look in the mirror in the morning 1. Dullness (hydration): Most satisfying aspect. Of course, any product can make skin feel hydrated right after application, but this product keeps my face moisturized and hydrated-looking until the next morning. 👍🏻 Makeup applies very well the next day. Especially allows for a plump skin look when applying foundation 2. Elasticity: In line with the above, the ample hydration seems to have restored some elasticity as well 3. Deep dryness: A symptom I rarely felt in summer, but recently experiencing often, possibly due to mask-wearing. Especially noticeable after 3 PM or in the mornings. I tried using oil or slightly heavier creams (nourishing creams like Sha*subli***), but due to the heat, they felt like they were sitting on top of my skin and didn't help with the deep dryness, even causing some pilling. After using this product (in the evening), the deep dryness was gone by the next morning 👍🏻/ I also applied a bit in the morning for deep dryness in the afternoon, and while I didn't notice a huge difference, it seems like it could work as a quick fix if you pat it in gently when experiencing deep dryness * Other notes: The scent is nice (I generally like herbal scents) Initially, the herbal scent is strong but doesn't linger after application The packaging feels very luxurious, seems like the high price is due to both product quality and packaging
• Drawbacks: The price feels slightly high. While it's justified by the product's effectiveness and is reasonable compared to other expensive cosmetics, if it were a bit cheaper, around the high 20,000 won or 30,000 won range, I'd want to stock up and use it regularly. It might be a bit heavy for oily skin types. However, it's perfect for combination dehydrated skin or skin with disrupted oil-moisture balance
+ I took photos but unfortunately the changes don't show up well... No editing was done, and these are before and after photos from a week of use ## The first photo is before using the product, taken after applying basic skincare/ ### The next photo is taken immediately after cleansing, after a week of using the product
