❤Equalberry Daily Peeling Swimming Pool Toner❤ Usage period: 10/25/2022 - 11/4/2022 They say it's like a swimming pool your skin can dive into carefree, and that's spot on! I have dry, sensitive skin, and I absolutely dread the cold winter winds. Winter makes my flaky skin more noticeable, causes dryness and tightness, and makes skincare more challenging. I was especially worried this year with the early cold snap, but thankfully I discovered this 'swimming pool' toner just in time. I've always wanted to try a peeling toner, but previous experiences with other brands left my skin even drier and irritated. So I had given up for a while. But as the cool winds started blowing, those pesky dead skin cells became a stress point again. As someone with dry skin, I'm always focused on hydration, but winter is still tough. I was a bit apprehensive about trying this product, fearing it might be drying or irritating. I assumed anything good for exfoliation would have harsh ingredients. Boy, was I wrong! The Equalberry Swimming Pool Toner is absolutely non-irritating! It's a product that even those with sensitive skin can use liberally without worry. And despite being a peeling toner, it's not drying at all. In fact, it's incredibly moisturizing. It truly lives up to its name - a swimming pool your skin can dive into worry-free. I've grown to dislike strong fragrances in skincare, and this toner is practically fragrance-free. So even those sensitive to scents should be able to use it without issue. When I first tried it, the texture surprised me. I expected a snot-like consistency, but it's closer to water, yet not quite. It's unique. At first, I was a bit thrown off by how slippery it felt, as I've never experienced a toner like this before. But it's not an unpleasant feeling at all, and definitely not sticky like oil. After using it a few times, I quickly got used to it and now I love how it makes my skin feel silky smooth when I pat it in. This brand was new to me, but I was impressed by their attention to detail - Braille packaging in Korean and English, 100% recycled containers, eco-friendly materials, and even an easy-remove label (which I'll be sure to peel off before recycling). It gives off a very thoughtful and meticulous brand image. After using it for just over ten days, I'm very satisfied. It's incredibly effective for dead skin cells, and after using the Swimming Pool Toner, my skin looks clearer overall. Plus, the hydration is excellent even when I do the '3-skin method'. When applying makeup, I use this exfoliating toner first, followed by a couple of layers of hydrating toner, and it seems to make my foundation apply better. I can even do the '7-skin method' without any issues. Despite its slippery texture, it absorbs well and doesn't leave a sticky feeling. At 300ml, it's quite a large size for a basic toner. I've found out there's an even larger size available, so I'll be getting that next time!
I've been thinking for 20 minutes, but I honestly can't find any downsides! Even the packaging is sleek and pretty. It's practically fragrance-free, comes in a large size, and is reasonably priced... I really can't think of anything negative!
I have dry skin, but in summer it becomes combination skin with troublesome areas, especially in the T-zone. This is my biggest source of skin stress each season. Now that the cold winds are blowing again, I've noticed flaky skin appearing around my nose. At first, I used the exfoliating toner as directed, thinking it would be good for dead skin cells. But after experimenting with different methods, I found that after using the exfoliating toner, reapplying it to the nose and surrounding area and gently massaging works even better. The non-irritating, slippery texture makes it perfect for this. After doing this, my nose and the area around it becomes clean and smooth. I usually do this in the evening because I love seeing my silky smooth skin in the morning. Another tip: after doing a sheet mask, use the exfoliating toner again. This removes dead skin cells even more effectively, leaving your entire face looking clearer.
