While using this, my face became flushed and heated due to a reaction from other cosmetics, naturally leading to dry skin. This gel provided the most potent cooling effect I've experienced.
ConsThe more I applied, the more I noticed pilling. It seems you need to be careful with the amount you use when applying.

When blemishes appear and my skin gets red, I just squeeze out a generous amount and slather it on like a mask. Skincare done!
ConsLike most gels, it has a common drawback - if you apply too much, it can pill and feel like there's a film on your skin.
TipBe careful not to use too much even though it absorbs well, as it can run out quickly.

This one's absorption and the fresh feeling after application are fantastic, so I'm planning to repurchase when I run out! I don't usually apply a lot, so the volume seems just right. Above all, it locks in hydration so well that there's a noticeable difference in my skin's moisture levels when I use it consistently versus when I don't. I think I'll be using this well into autumn! And the way it absorbs is truly excellent! But be careful not to over-rub, as it can pill. It's best to spread it lightly on your face and then pat it in for absorption.
ConsIt pills slightly if you apply too much! So I found myself using just enough for my face to absorb. This issue is easily solved with proper amount control! Also, as someone with extremely dry skin that cracks even in summer, I found using just this and toner wasn't quite enough moisture. For those with dry skin, I'd recommend following up with a cream to really lock in that oil and moisture balance!
TipAmount control is really crucial! After using it once or twice, you'll get a feel for how much to use without pilling. And for those with dry skin, make sure to use a rich cream! I use the Dewytree Snail Cream, and the combination works so well that my skin stays in great condition overnight. My skin usually reacts a lot to sleep quality, but it's been noticeably more stable lately!

I initially thought it was pricey compared to regular aloe gels, but unlike those where moisture just evaporates, this gel actually stays on the skin. As a result, I didn't need to use much, so it lasted a long time.
ConsI didn't see any soothing effects or improvement in blemishes. It absorbs slowly, which can lead to pilling if you're not careful.
TipSince it doesn't absorb quickly, I found that constantly patting it in caused pilling. Instead, I applied a thick layer like a mask, did other things, then patted in the remaining product. Following up with an emulsion or cream prevented pilling and effectively improved deep dryness.

Cons- The website suggests it can be used in the essence step, but it's not enough for dry skin. It's really just packed with hydration, and skin starts feeling tight after only a few hours (about 3 hours?). Even reapplying doesn't help with the tightness. - Tried it on my body too, hoping to avoid stickiness in summer, but it was still drying. Maybe due to my childhood atopy struggles, my body is extra dry, and this doesn't seem to make a difference. - It's prone to pilling even when applied in small amounts before makeup. Especially horrible with mineral sunscreens. - As someone with sensitive skin that's particularly vulnerable to physical irritation, I always pat products gently from the base layer, allow absorption with palm heat, and wait before moving to the next step. Even with this careful routine, it still pills easily.
Tip- Recommended for those with oily, sebum-rich skin. - For combination to dry skin types, make sure to follow up with an emulsion or cream that has some oil content.

I apply it all over - face, neck, body, arms, and legs. It's hydrating, mild, and not sticky at all. While it occasionally feels like it's pilling during absorption... overall, it's great!
ConsSometimes... probably due to my skin condition, it feels like it's pilling a bit. So I end up applying it in small amounts two or three times until it dries.
TipPersonally, I just slather it on generously!

Like others have mentioned in their reviews, you need to apply it thinly and follow up with a moisturizer. The best part: it's gentle on the skin.
ConsI didn't notice much of a soothing effect. If you apply it too thickly, it pills. It stung a bit at first, but I gradually got used to it and stopped noticing.
TipHighly recommended for very oily skin. If you have dry skin, you absolutely must follow up with a deeply hydrating cream.

It's moisturizing, absorbs well with a smooth application, and has a calming effect. While tea tree couldn't tackle my unexplained bumps and redness, this product seemed to alleviate them a bit after use. It might be just my imagination, but I'll keep using it. The price seems reasonable too.
ConsI have combination skin leaning towards oily, but this is more suitable for dry skin. It feels momentarily hydrating, but there's no lasting moisture. Even with my combination skin, when I apply mineral sunscreen over it, dead skin cells become visible. I'm not sure if it's pilling. Though the price is good, it feels dry to use, so it seems to run out quickly.
TipIt might be a good idea to request a sample and try it out before purchasing.

It appears to have a soothing effect and overall, the results are quite satisfactory.
ConsWhen applying a thick layer, I'm unsure if it's fully absorbing. It tends to pill like dead skin cells when rubbed. If I scratch, it all comes off. I go through about one bottle a month. It might be nice if they increased the volume. Despite this, I've been using it consistently.
TipWhen my skin is red or itchy, applying a thick layer seems to calm it down. You'll need to add a separate moisturizer on top though, as it can feel tight once it dries and absorbs.

First off, I love how gentle the ingredients are! It doesn't sting at all even when applied around the eyes, so no tears. It's wonderfully hydrating too. 2. Usually, I avoid aloe gel products due to their stickiness, but this one absorbs without any sticky feeling. I'll definitely repurchase! 3. The affordable price is a big plus - I can apply it generously without worrying. 4. The included sticker is great for tracking when I opened it. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes to use up!
Cons1. After applying this aloe gel, there's some pilling when I layer sunscreen or BB cream on top. (Maybe because the base is too hydrating?) Any tips for quicker absorption when I'm in a hurry?
