Although it's a cream, the consistency isn't very rich, so it doesn't last as long as you might expect. You need to reapply it frequently.

It's incredibly gentle and being a cream, the hydration lasts noticeably longer than an emulsion. Best of all, it's suitable for the whole family to use. I received it last winter through a Dr.G Instagram event, and it's still serving us well. Even my child with mild eczema finds this cream agreeable.
