  This product is incredibly gentle on the skin. When I had dermatitis, even the Beplain Mung Bean Cleansing Foam caused tingling, but this one didn't irritate my skin at all. It also lathers up nicely.

  Cons

  The cleansing effectiveness is noticeably mild. As someone with oily skin, I still feel a bit of stickiness after washing. This might be better suited for those with dry skin.

  It's gentle on the skin. Even when my super sensitive skin was irritated and tingling, this product was fine to use. With consistent use, it helps clear up blackheads too.

  Cons

  On days when my skin was particularly oily or had a lot of dead skin cells, I felt the cleansing effectiveness was a bit lacking.

  I'm currently repurchasing and using this product for daily dead skin cell care with enzymes. When using this enzyme washing powder, there's no need for additional exfoliation - it's more than sufficient on its own.

  Cons

  The quantity is small compared to the price. Double cleansing is necessary. You need to be gentle and delicate when cleansing with this product.

  Gentle on the skin, which is great. The container dispenses just the right amount. The powder dissolves well in water.

  Cons

  It's a struggle to wash my face every time because it doesn't lather well. Doesn't seem to remove sebum thoroughly.

  Using a 1000 won foam maker from Daiso helps create a better lather.

  Pros

  I received a free sample during a promotional event and decided to give it a try. Looking at the ingredients, you can tell there's absolutely no chance of irritation. I was using Isanox foam cleanser before, but after using this product for a few days, my skin improved so much that I'm satisfied enough to purchase the full-size version.

  Cons

  The cleansing effectiveness is too weak. It barely removes even sunscreen. You definitely need to use a cleansing water or similar product to wipe off makeup first before using this. If you don't wear makeup, it might be okay to use on its own, though.

  Tip

  I mix it with houttuynia cordata powder (which you can buy for just a dollar at Daiso) in equal parts after removing makeup with a first cleanse water or milk. This makes the foam even richer and helps soothe the skin. If you've purchased this product, I highly recommend using it this way.

  The biggest advantage was how convenient it is to carry around! The particles are small and fine, allowing for a gentle rolling action. Even after cleansing, my skin didn't feel dry at all!

  Cons

  The cleansing effectiveness wasn't as impressive as I had hoped. So I ended up using it as a second step after my regular foam cleanser.

  Tip

  At first, I wasn't sure how to use it and wasted some powder by letting it wash away. I wondered, 'How is this supposed to remove dead skin cells?' But as I kept using it, I found that putting it in my palm and adding 2-3 drops of water created a nice scrubbing sensation and produced a good lather!

  This review is based on my experience after winning The Hwahae Testers survey. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and I'm quite pleased. My skin is naturally very dry, and I used to dislike the tightness after cleansing, but with this product, there's no tightness at all. I've used enzyme powder cleansers before, and they generally seem to have similar effects. The biggest advantage is that it doesn't dry out my skin.

  Cons

  As is typical with enzyme cleansers, it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling. That's probably why it doesn't dry out the skin. Since I use this after removing my makeup with a remover and cleansing water, I didn't find this aspect disappointing at all.

  Tip

  I recommend this as a second-step cleanser. Since it's a cleanser, it might be a bit heavy for morning use, so I use a handmade soap in the mornings instead.
