I knew the importance of feminine hygiene products but had never used one before. This was my first time trying it, so I didn't have a benchmark. I set my own standards based on reviews of other products! -Ingredients Since it's for a sensitive area, ingredients are crucial. This product has great ingredients. It's pH-balanced (slightly acidic) as expected, and other ingredients are gentle too. I didn't experience any discomfort (like blemishes or itching) related to the ingredients while using it! -Scent As someone sensitive to fragrances, I appreciated that it's unscented. -Texture The soft foam type makes it easy to use. However, it's not a dense foam, so I wouldn't recommend it if that's what you're looking for. -Itching or inflammation Though I didn't get a medical diagnosis, I thought I had a mild yeast infection (just itching). After using this product, (whether it's just my imagination or not) I felt the itching decreased.
I don't think there are any particular downsides. Oh, maybe because it's a soft foam type, I personally felt it was less refreshing? I often did a double cleanse when using it.
Because it's gentle, I think it's not a bad choice for those new to feminine hygiene products.
