There's hardly any downside, but the pigmentation is so strong that you have to be careful! A brush works better than your fingers.

The shades that are not commonly found in Korea and the intense pigmentation are great for those who are very interested in cosmetics! You can use them as a collection item or for point makeup.


-After swatching a few times, the matte shades have even more intense pigmentation than the glitters.


-The palette has an overall purple-toned concept, as the theme is 'space'.

The price is definitely an issue - I honestly find it a bit too expensive to buy at full price.

This palette is perfect for everything from daily makeup to festival looks!
The individual shadows are not too large, which is great. I was hesitant to buy the Huda Beauty palette because it's a paper palette, but this one has a plastic case which feels much more durable!!

American-style shadows often have a heavy, cakey texture, but this palette doesn't have that issue. The color payoff is great without being too powdery.
And I'm not a big fan of glitter, so I'm really happy there isn't too much of it in this palette!

👎 To be honest, the mint and blue shades might be a bit too out-there for everyday use. Out of the 18 shades, only about 10 seem practical for real-life wear.

👎 The case has a large mirror, which is nice for application, but it doesn't stand up very well on its own. Of course, since this isn't meant to be a dedicated mirror product, you can still use it by holding it, but it's a bit inconvenient.

👍 I'd recommend this to anyone who wanted to try new color combinations, as the colors are quite uncommon. When I swatched them, I realized these were colors I didn't have before.

👍 The pigmentation is really amazing! Just a light swipe gives you full, true-to-pan color. The shimmer shades are especially stunning! And the longevity is pretty good too - the shimmers don't fall out.

The pigmentation and staying power were amazing, but that also made it a bit tricky to blend. So I ended up using a fluffier brush to make the application smoother.

I had the Houda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette on my wishlist for a while, but the price was a bit steep and I was just drooling over it. But then I saw that Sephora had it on sale, so I quickly placed an order and got my hands on it! Houda Beauty products usually come in paper packaging, but this palette has this shimmery, jewel-like plastic case that I really love. It looks even prettier under sunlight. And true to its Mercury name, the shades have this unique, cosmic vibe to them... the mint and lavender ones are especially gorgeous!

The price is a bit high haha. Buy it when it's on sale.

To be honest, it's really pretty. The coverage is good and the pearls are really beautiful. It's definitely worth the price... There are cool-toned, warm-toned, and versatile shades.
