I love it! The color is really beautiful, and it has a subtle chocolate-like scent. People who dislike a powdery finish might not enjoy this, and it seems to wear off rather easily. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 29, 2023
The color is absolutely gorgeous, and it has this delightful vanilla-like scent that makes applying it such a pleasure. I'm so in love with this product that I honestly can't think of anything I'd change about it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 30, 2022
The color payoff is beautiful and it feels moisturizing, which I love! It has a sweet scent and doesn't bleed outside the lip line. Plus, you get a generous amount of product. Unfortunately, it comes off too easily. It disappears as soon as you eat something and transfers onto cups, chopsticks, and everything else. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 15, 2022
The color is so pretty and nice. I love the vanilla scent! Or is it chocolate? Either way, it's wonderful. Those who dislike vanilla scents might not enjoy this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 2, 2022
The color payoff is great, and while the scent might be divisive, I personally enjoyed it. 1. It transfers easily. 2. It feels drying on the skin. 3. It accentuates dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2022
(I discovered this tint after trying it on in-store and loving how it looked, even though I didn't know its name at the time... I'm still not sure if it was Daffodil I tried then) Color - A toned-down red. It seems like it would suit various complexions well, but I think it would look especially great on those with warm undertones. Scent - To me, it smells like coconut. I liked the fragrance because it's nutty and sweet. Packaging is reasonably simple and versatile. It feels soft to the touch and has an elongated shape, making it convenient to carry around. - There's a bit of dead skin cell accentuation. It's not severe, just noticeable when you look closely. - While I mentioned liking the scent earlier, it can become overwhelming if you smell it for too long. I actually had an experience where I kept sniffing it, and afterward, I couldn't apply it to my lips because it made me dizzy. - About the packaging, I said it was okay before, but it's just a plastic container with a matte sticker on it, which peels off... On a humid day, the tint's outer layer became flimsy, so I tried to peel it off completely, but it neither came off cleanly nor reattached. I attempted to stick it back on, but the paper was already too damaged. Don't try to remove it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 11, 2022
It leaves your skin feeling super soft and powdery, and the scent is like cookies! So lovely! The daffodil shade seems to give people a bit of a sophisticated vibe. If you're warm-toned but feel you're slightly less deep than a true deep undertone, this might be perfect for you! While the scent is nice, it can be really dizzying when you smell it in the car. Also, it tends to transfer a bit - you might find it smudging onto your mask sometimes! Pro tip: After applying the lip product, blot your lips once with a tissue. This helps reduce transfer onto your mask! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 17, 2022
The scent was absolutely divine, and I adored the beautifully chosen color. It really won me over! It's a bit disappointing that it tends to slightly emphasize dry, flaky lips. Wish it didn't do that... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 3, 2022
Since I gave a harsh review of the 3CE Blur Water Tint before, I wanted to balance it out with a positive review for this product. While I criticized the 3CE Blur Water Tint for its medicinal taste and terrible scent, this is the product I mentioned could still be tolerated among 3CE's lineup. Though the fragrance isn't great, it's bearable. There's a slight cinnamon note, but it's okay. As expected from the famous Daffodil shade, the color is beautiful and it absorbs well. Longevity isn't the best, as other reviews mention. It comes off quickly when eating. Still, if you reapply during breaks, it lasts decently. I think Peripera Ink the Velvet has a similar formula, but fragrance-wise, 3CE Daffodil is better. Peripera also had that medicinal scent I dislike. The absorption is also better with Daffodil than Peripera. If you're deciding between velvet tints, go for Peripera for longevity, but choose Daffodil if fragrance is your priority. The longevity was slightly disappointing, but other aspects lived up to Daffodil's reputation - great color and absorbs well. I want to emphasize again that the 3CE Blur Water Tint has an unpleasant scent, so I strongly recommend testing the fragrance before purchasing. Even for Daffodil, if you dislike cinnamon scents, it's best to smell it first. At Olive Young, you can test the fragrance by applying the tint to a test strip and smelling it outside. At LaLa Blah, you can apply it to the back of your hand and smell it outside. When buying tints, I highly recommend always testing the fragrance first. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2022
Out of all the lip tints I've bought so far, I love this color the most. It's not overwhelming for daily wear. The scent isn't too strong either, which is nice. It comes off easily, so the staying power is a bit disappointing. You need to take good care of your lip's dead skin cells.
