While there weren't many significant downsides, if I had to mention a few: 1. The formula seems more effective for absorption than as an exfoliating toner. It absorbs better when used for hydration. Those who prefer exfoliating toners might find this slightly disappointing. 2. People with oily skin might find it a bit rich. On the other hand, those with extremely dry skin might need to layer it twice for long-lasting hydration. 3. The opening of the toner bottle can be a bit inconvenient.
