If you layer it and press your lips together, it stains for decent longevity. It develops into a clear, pretty red. While the staying power seems good at first, it inevitably comes off when eating oily foods. But here's what I discovered - since I don't like stickiness (it gets on masks too), if you blot it with a tissue, it transforms into a perfect cool-toned lip color. Luckily, I have a cool complexion, so it's a perfect match! After blotting, it turns into a cherry-like red+pink shade. The reason I usually dislike these moisturizing types is that they tend to wipe off while applying, but this lip product doesn't do that. It applies smoothly and evenly. You can fill your lips with just a small amount (for a natural gradient look). I received this as a birthday gift and I'm completely satisfied!
