CLIO Melting Sheer Lip [04 Cranberry Low] Texture: It's incredibly moisturizing with a hydrating feel. It's more like a hydrating lipstick than a tinted lip balm. The color intensifies as you layer it, allowing for a gradient effect. I've attached photos showing 3, 2, and 1 swipes from top to bottom. Color: Imagine a hot pink with a drop of red mixed in. It would look great on cool-toned individuals. I've attached a photo below for reference. Personal Color: As a Summer cool tone who suits slightly warm colors better than overly cool ones, I absolutely love this! I highly recommend it to fellow Summer cool-toned folks. Bare face friendly: In my opinion, it might be a bit too vibrant for a bare face look. However, if you're naturally cool-toned, it could work well. If you want to wear it with a bare face, try applying a thinner layer! Longevity: The staying power isn't the best. After a few hours, the moisturizing effect fades and it becomes dry, requiring reapplication. Flakiness: It doesn't emphasize dead skin cells, so you can use it even without exfoliating. Staining: There's a very slight staining effect. I've attached a photo of the staining below. Application: It glides on smoothly with great color payoff, making you want to keep applying it.
As mentioned earlier, the longevity is a bit disappointing. The hydrating effect doesn't last long, so you need to reapply frequently, which is somewhat inconvenient.
Just doing your brows, skin, and applying this lip color can make you look absolutely stunning! If you find it a bit too bold to wear alone, try using this as a base, blotting it slightly with a tissue, and then applying a point color on top for a beautiful effect.
