While I experienced a slight tingling sensation around my eyes when using toner, this emulsion caused no irritation and absorbed beautifully with a fresh feel.
ConsThere weren't any significant drawbacks, but if I had to mention something, applying too much can leave a slightly rich feeling. However, it's easy to control the amount, so I wouldn't really consider this a disadvantage.
TipIt works well when used together with toner and ampoule before applying the emulsion.

The scent is... well, it's hard to notice unless you really try to smell it closely.
ConsThere's nothing that makes me go 'Wow, this is amazing!' It's just okay. I haven't tried other products, so I can't compare, but I didn't feel like it provided significant hydration.

While I wish I had more than just a sample to really slather it on, I'm completely satisfied with how it feels! First off, it's packed with hydration, just like its name suggests. It's not greasy at all, but feels moisturizing and refreshing. I apply it right after my toner, and it absorbs quickly without any pilling. Most importantly, it leaves my skin feeling so hydrated! This emulsion seems to nail the basics. It's perfect for summer use, you know? There's a slight richness to it that's great for balancing oil and moisture. It really helps with that deep dryness - I don't feel it at all. The texture is light and absorbs well, suitable for everyday use.
ConsThere wasn't anything I disliked about it at all. It's suitable for all skin types!

The absorption is fantastic - it's moisturizing yet lightweight. It doesn't feel like it evaporates immediately after application, making it perfect to use before applying cream. I've been using it in place of serum and I love it. It applies with a nice hydrating feel, leaving the skin feeling fresh and dewy. It seems to have more moisture than oil, striking just the right balance between hydration and richness. The oil and moisture balance feels spot-on.
ConsI honestly can't think of any downsides. However, those with very dry skin might find it not quite hydrating enough.
TipI'm using the toner, emulsion, and cream from this line, and they're all truly excellent.

ConsDry, dry, dry, dry, dry, dry! This is really important: For combination dehydrated skin, it's way too drying. Please bring back the more hydrating Green Tea version! Everyone complaining about dryness probably switched from the Green Tea one. Everything else is fine, but it's seriously so drying. For the first time in my life, I'm experiencing deep dryness on my face.

ConsAs someone with combination skin - oily T-zone and dry U-zone - I experienced severe skin tightness after applying this product.
TipGiven the higher price point of this product, I recommend purchasing it during promotional periods. Additionally, as it may not suit all skin types, I suggest trying a sample first before making a full purchase.
