I usually just rinse my face with water in the morning, but I heard somewhere that it's not the best practice and that using a mild acidic foam cleanser is better. So I decided to use this only in the mornings. The foam formula made it super convenient to use. I typically shy away from foam cleansers that leave my skin feeling squeaky clean in the morning, but this one was different. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth without that tight, stripped feeling. If you prefer that squeaky-clean sensation after cleansing, you might want to keep this in mind. When buying cosmetics, I usually check the ingredients carefully. Since this was a gift, I was a bit worried about potential blemishes or skin reactions. Fortunately, it seems to suit my skin well - I didn't experience any breakouts or rashes. I was so satisfied that I used up the entire bottle!
ConsThe scent is a bit... how should I describe it? Like a machine smell? It's supposed to be unscented, but you know how some unscented products still have that not-so-pleasant smell? It's hard to explain... Sorry for rambling! You get used to the scent eventually, but when you first use it, you might find yourself thinking, "Huh? What's that smell?" And the biggest drawback is... it's not exactly budget-friendly.
TipThis review highlights the importance of gentle cleansing, especially for those with sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin. The reviewer appreciates the product's ability to cleanse without stripping the skin, which is crucial for maintaining a healthy oil and moisture balance. They also touch on the significance of checking ingredients to avoid potential irritation or allergic reactions, which is a smart practice for anyone with super sensitive skin.

Usually, I don't experience blemishes or pimples, but recently I've developed contact dermatitis from wearing masks. When irritated, my entire face becomes red and hot, accompanied by itchy red spots and dead skin cells. If it worsens, various blemishes appear all over my face. With skincare products, oily formulas tend to cause acne and red, bloodshot eyes. I prefer slightly firmer textures that are oil-free but highly moisturizing with a fresh finish. Cleansing Product Selection Criteria for Super Sensitive Skin: As someone with super sensitive skin, I react not only to certain ingredients but also to excessive cleansing power that can break down my skin barrier and cause blemishes. Products that get into my eyes quickly cause bloodshot eyes and pimples on both eyelids. So, I use cleansing products with mild ingredients and moderate cleansing effectiveness. This time, with my skin barrier completely broken down, I bought this product after checking its ingredients, looking for a gentle cleanser. Cleansing Routine: Yuri Pibu Cleansing Oil (3 pumps) ➡️ Uriage Micellar Cleansing Foam (1 pump) User Experience: Used to mostly fragrance-free products, I was surprised by the strong, typical cosmetic scent on first pump. However, trusting the stable ingredients, I rolled it on my face. The foam's moderate firmness and gentle cleansing power allowed me to use it without irritation even on skin with itchy red spots and rashes. After cleansing, my skin felt mild without any blemishes, and I could use it around my eyes without stinging or itching. The texture is great for adjusting cleansing power - a light rolling for days with just sunscreen, and multiple rollings for deep cleansing after makeup! Recommendation: I recommend this to those with super sensitive, normal to dry skin like mine, or anyone looking for a gentle product for morning cleansing. When my skin is too dry from hypersensitivity to skip the second cleanse, I found it great as it leaves no oiliness and doesn't cause acne. Also, the pump bottle is convenient for quick use on busy mornings.
ConsPersonally, I didn't like the fragrance. Having recently used mostly fragrance-free or aromatherapy scents, this product's 'typical cosmetic scent' was too strong for me. Although I felt some aversion to it, I continue using the product because it's gentle on my skin. If there are plans for a renewal, I'd suggest changing to a different scent or making it fragrance-free.
TipFor those who find making foam with cleansing gels tedious and want convenience, I recommend this foaming cleanser with a pump dispenser that creates foam for you.
