  As someone with atopic dermatitis, acne, and super sensitive skin, I'm allergic to most cosmetics. I've tried countless products claiming to be gentle or beneficial, but my skin reacts badly to almost everything. This product, however, is a game-changer. I even sent it to friends in the US who were struggling with acne breakouts due to lack of good dermatologists there, and they all saw improvements. It's probably because it's oil-free, yet surprisingly hydrating if you layer it a couple of times. Though it feels slightly sticky right after application, it becomes velvety smooth within a minute.

  Honestly, I can't think of any real downsides. If I had to nitpick, maybe the packaging design isn't the prettiest?

  Pros

  I've probably used over 5 bottles of this. First off, it doesn't cause blemishes when applied, and it's in a completely different league compared to regular aloe gels sold in stores. When you've got sunburned skin in summer, applying this to the exposed areas provides a decent soothing effect.

  Cons

  The downside is the price... It feels a bit expensive for something that doesn't seem to have any special ingredients or effects. Also, it becomes difficult to squeeze out the product when you're nearly finished with the bottle.

  Tip

  I apply it directly to my bare face without using a toner!

  Pros

  I started using this because of my acne, and it was great for soothing my skin. I've been consistently using only this product. I was even more satisfied because it contains natural aloe vera. I tried other cheaper products, but none of them were as satisfying as this one. So I came back to it and have been using it regularly.

  Cons

  There's nothing I'm disappointed with. I like it and I'm satisfied. Everyone's skin is different, so results may vary from person to person.

  Pros

  I originally have dry skin, but when my blemishes were at their worst, I used the oily skin Aloe Essential. This time, I tried the combination skin version for the first time. I had used the oily skin version for about two tubes!! My current skin condition is relatively improved - blackheads and small blemishes still tend to appear, but even when larger blemishes pop up, they don't get as inflamed as before and subside well. ✅ Hydration It's definitely different from the oily skin version - more hydrating and has a more gel-like texture! I apply this product after my eggplant ampoule and before my emulsion, and it seems to lock in moisture better. ✅ No pilling While the oily skin version seemed to pill slightly, this one feels like it adheres better to the skin! It's more appealing than typical aloe products, with a rich texture similar to a hydrating cream. ✅ Good ingredients, fragrance-free I trust Sidmool for its ingredients, and I love that it's fragrance-free!

  Cons

  I haven't found any downsides yet! This essential seems like it would be even better suited for dry skin or winter use.
