  Pros

  Texture: The consistency is incredibly rich and thick. For someone like me who uses a lot of treatment, I needed a full palm's worth to cover my hair length (which reaches my waist). Scent: Looking at the package, I expected a musky or baby powder scent, but surprisingly it had an orange fragrance. While I'm not usually a fan of citrus scents, this one wasn't bad.

  Cons

  Effectiveness: Wow, the results are shockingly poor. It's the worst treatment I've ever used. I'm not usually picky about treatments - typically, my fingers glide through my hair easily and it feels silky with most products. But with this one, my hair falls out a lot during application, and after drying, it feels extremely stiff. It even causes static electricity easily. It seems to completely fail as a treatment. Despite being marketed as a volumizing treatment, there's absolutely no volume. I won't be repurchasing.

  Tip

  I received this as a sample when buying the Volume Fixer, but I wouldn't spend money on it.

  Pros

  While it's on the pricier side, the scent is a natural citrus that doesn't feel artificial. It's great for detangling hair after use. I'm considering repurchasing.

  Cons

  However, it seems to work best when used with the matching shampoo. When I tried it with a different brand's shampoo, my hair became stiff and tangled easily. Also, while everything else is good, I can't really feel much volume boost.

  Tip

  For best results, massage the treatment into your scalp, then rinse and follow up with the matching shampoo. This routine really improves hair texture.
