First off, the price is incredibly affordable! The scent is a bit sharp, which I personally love. Since it has a non-sticky, water-like texture, I found it versatile enough to use anywhere. Above all, the generous amount allows for liberal application, which I really appreciated. This might just be my skin, but I experienced a slight burning sensation and my skin felt like it was on the verge of breaking out. Even though I don't have acne-prone or particularly sensitive skin, I got the feeling that prolonged use of this product might cause some issues. Try a sample before purchasing! I had an immediate reaction upon application. On the other hand, my friend with super sensitive skin uses this product without any problems. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2021
The generous volume is unbeatable, and it's perfect for liberally applying as an exfoliating toner without a second thought. I also loved that the scent was refreshing without being headache-inducing. I used it carelessly as an exfoliating toner and my skin completely freaked out... It seems the allergenic ingredients really did a number on me. I used to have resilient skin that could handle any random skincare product I slapped on. While living on my own, I went through a bottle of Plant Nation Calendula Toner (also cheap and plentiful). When that ran out, I switched to this one thinking it would be similar since it was even cheaper. But at some point, I started consistently getting two new blemishes every day. Having never had issues with cosmetics before, I didn't suspect the toner and tried everything else. I changed my face mask, visited a dermatologist, and bought loads of different products like essences, sheet masks, and cleansing oils. I figured it must be due to wearing face masks, as I'd heard so many people complain about mask-related skin troubles. A year passed with no improvement. I'd used up half of that big bottle, and my face was a mess of acne scars. Yesterday and today, I absent-mindedly used a different toner sample instead, and my skin calmed down. I feel like I've been hit over the head with a giant hammer... I've learned the importance of cosmetic ingredients the hard way. I'm so sorry, skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 16, 2020
I was tempted by the large size and went ahead and bought it... The price is quite reasonable too This seems to be the absolute worst. After using it, my face broke out with acne-like bumps and an insane amount of tiny pimples, completely ruining my skin... When applying, it doesn't even adhere well to the skin, and the fragrance seems quite irritating too. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2020
It feels refreshing and has a pleasant scent. At first, I thought it suited my skin well. The price is also quite affordable, especially during sales when you can get a large size for less than 10,000 won. I discovered through this product that my skin might not be compatible with citrus-based skincare. Since this was my first attempt at using a citrus product, I'm not sure if it's a product issue or just my skin type. I used it as an exfoliating toner, and while it seemed fine for the first few uses, gradually my skin started developing redness, and I experienced more blemishes and breakouts. I had worked so hard to improve my skin condition, and now I'm back to being a toner nomad, searching for the right one again. I recommend this only for those whose skin can handle citrus-based products. It's stronger than you might expect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 23, 2020
Skin Type: Ultra-sensitive, dry My skin gets dry within a minute after washing Quick Review: ⭐️⭐️ It's not sticky and I like the hydration, but that's really all there is to it... I didn't like much else about it. It seems better suited for oily skin rather than dry, and I wouldn't recommend it for those with sensitive skin. Texture: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's a water toner! A true water toner with absolutely no stickiness. Scent: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It has a fresh scent, kind of like lemons? It's not an off-putting fragrance, just a 'oh, that's refreshing' kind of first impression. Hydration: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's genuinely hydrating. While it's not intensely moisturizing, it does provide a real boost of hydration and a watery feel. Blemishes: ⭐️⭐️ It didn't help clear up my blemishes or acne. On the contrary, my skin reacted badly... I tried using it again after my skin calmed down because I didn't want to waste it, but I still experienced redness. What a shame. Sensitivity: ⭐️ I thought it wouldn't have any harmful ingredients, but it turns out there are 3 potentially allergy-triggering components! No wonder my skin reacted. I don't think it's suitable for sensitive and reactive skin like mine. It might even cause allergic reactions if you're not careful. Irritation: ⭐️⭐️ While using it, I felt no irritation and thought it was just a nice, hydrating product. But the irritation came after use. Still, it is genuinely hydrating. Moisturizing: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ For a water toner, it's quite moisturizing, but for dry skin, it's really not enough. It's more suitable for those with oily skin. The pump dispenser made it inconvenient to use. It might be uncomfortable for those who want to use it as a mask or as a pat-on toner, rather than just as an exfoliating toner. It contains 3 potentially allergy-triggering ingredients, which might be why my skin reacted badly. I wish I had checked the ingredients more carefully before buying. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 15, 2020
If I had to pick something positive, I guess it's that it's not sticky? I'm not really sure. I used to get a lot of compliments on my skin, but after using this for about a month, I started noticing tiny blemishes appearing on my face. Now my skin has completely broken out. I really wish I could turn back time to before I started using this product. Seriously, don't buy this. You'll regret it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2020
✓ My skin is combination/sensitive/prone to blemishes. I also have small bumps. My cheeks are extremely sensitive, and if I use products that don't suit my skin type, it reacts badly and breaks out. ✓ The feel on the skin isn't bad. It's cool and you can even feel a slight cooling effect. ✓ Personally, I think the hydration is good. There's a subtle, refreshing lemon scent that's really pleasant. ✓ It absorbs well too. I don't think it's bad at all. ✓ I bought 500ml for about 18,000 won, which isn't a bad price. ✓ Recommended for dry skin / The fragrance is quite strong. Not recommended for those with fragrance-sensitive skin. ✓ I guess my skin is also sensitive to fragrances. I realized this after using it - when I use it as a mask pack, the next day my skin gets itchy and breaks out. Be careful as the fragrance is quite strong. ✓ If you do use it, it's best to use it as a mask for no more than 5 minutes, or just use it to even out your skin tone after cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 31, 2020
I'm sorry, but I have more negative things to say than positive... I tried this because my usual toner was out of stock and an employee recommended it. Unfortunately, my face completely broke out. My skin is already super sensitive and tends to get red and irritated when products don't suit me, which is why I usually stick to what I know works. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 12, 2019
I got it on sale at Olive Young, so the price was cheap. That's about the only good thing I can say. After using this product, my skin completely freaked out. At first, I thought it might be due to fine dust, but I had started using this toner the day before my skin went haywire. Seeing similar reviews, I'm now certain. The photos are too graphic to post, but I can feel bumps when I wash my face, and my skin is itchy. I'm planning to see a dermatologist tomorrow. This is the worst cosmetic product I've ever tried. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 20, 2019
This might be the most refreshing and pleasant-smelling toner I've ever tried. The pump-on-cotton-pad application could be convenient, but I'm not sure if it's just me - it kept splashing everywhere. Sadly, a few days after using it, my skin turned red and itchy, so I had to stop immediately. It seems this product just didn't agree with my super sensitive skin.
