  I've been using the Aestura Essence consistently since last winter. My skin is combination dehydrated, and I noticed that applying just a serum or ampoule alone in winter wasn't enough to combat dryness. Even though my skin was dry, I still got small blemishes, which is why I started using this essence. I applied it from early fall when it started getting chilly until just before the weather warmed up. I saw the most benefits during autumn, winter, and spring. After my toner and ampoule, I added the Aestura Essence as an extra step. This routine prevented those pesky little blemishes and made my skin look clearer. I continued using it religiously throughout the winter. It seems to provide great hydration, but what I really noticed was how it strengthened my skin barrier. Whenever my face got a bit red or felt sensitive, this essence helped calm it down - I saw great results. When the weather's cold, I highly recommend adding an extra layer of the Aestura Essence. It's a game-changer!

  As the weather warmed up and I started wearing short sleeves, I noticed a few small blemishes popping up. I think it might have been a bit too rich for my combination dehydrated skin during this time. While it felt wonderfully hydrating and moisturizing in winter, come summer, my skin became a bit oily and prone to breakouts.

  The moment you apply it, it feels so moisturizing and gentle that you think it's going to be really good for your skin

  Cons

  Maybe because it contains pore-clogging ingredients... There could be multiple factors, but the morning after using this, I noticed some blemishes popping up. So, I waited a few days and tried using it again in the morning before makeup, but after washing my face, two more pimples appeared. Since this was the only new product I added that day, I figured it doesn't agree with my skin and I've set it aside for now

Unlike other essences and ampoules for combination skin that feel moisturizing only during application and dry out quickly after absorption, this one maintains its hydrating effect even after it's fully absorbed.

  For me, using this alone caused blemishes to appear on my forehead. I had to give up after using it a few times.

  There's absolutely nothing good about this... Really, nothing at all. It's a waste of money. Hmm... I can't think of a single positive thing.

  I bought this along with a cleansing foam... and my skin exploded with tiny blemishes.   First off, I have combination dehydrated skin. My cheeks are dry, but my T-zone is oily. So I only applied this to my oily areas. The texture is somewhere between a toner and an emulsion. It glides on super smoothly and absorbs well. However, it doesn't absorb completely, leaving a slightly rich film on the skin. I love that it's fragrance-free! While I've heard great things about it, it seems like a decent, no-frills product to me.
