I tested it on the back of my hand and thought their suggestion was too light, so I insisted on getting a shade darker... But when I tried it at home... Well, you know... It's dark... I forgot my hands were tanned from outdoor exercise! Despite being slightly darker than expected, the color is still pretty. It applies thinly and evenly.
ConsIf you're focused on coverage, skip this one. While it applies thinly and feels lightweight, it falls short in terms of coverage. It's good for those times when you don't want to go bare-faced but don't need full coverage. You could also use it for touch-ups in the afternoon after applying a high-coverage cushion foundation.
TipFor extra hydration, try mixing it with Hera Hydrating Radiance Primer and sunscreen before applying your cushion foundation.

Adherence: Adheres well when applied thinly, but amount control is crucial. Application: Not particularly moisturizing, so quick application is necessary. Due to its drying nature, not recommended for touch-ups.
ConsThe formula is quite drying, so it's a definite no for those with dry skin. Even those with oily skin should only use it in summer due to its drying effect. I have combination skin and find it too drying in winter, so I only use it occasionally in summer.
TipTo prevent pilling, make sure your skincare routine provides ample hydration and a solid base!

It feels like it adheres thinly to the skin. - Color: When I use the light shade 21, it looks like my natural skin. I prefer a pink base, so I bought 21C1, which is a classic 21 shade. The pink base makes it look radiant, but the product seems to run slightly darker overall. Next time, I plan to purchase 17C1. - Coverage: It's sheer. It goes on transparently, just evening out the complexion nicely. However, the glow makes your skin look beautiful. - Adherence: It adheres as well as most fixing cushions, so the staying power is good. Despite being a glow cushion, it barely transfers to masks. - Longevity: The staying power is really excellent. It truly lasts all day without caking or separating. - Glow: It's moisturizing. It gives a really high-end glow. Great for both oily and dry skin types.
ConsThe puff is a bit disappointing. It's better to replace it with a black puff or an Espoir puff.
TipReplace the puff!

Surprisingly, it doesn't transfer heavily onto masks, and even if it fades, it does so naturally! It gives a glow, but not an oily shine - more like a healthy complexion that makes your skin look great.
ConsCompared to the Black Cushion, the higher price and slightly lower coverage are a bit disappointing.
TipIf you apply too much skincare underneath, it tends to transfer onto masks easily. So, use a moderate amount of skincare products and apply this in a thin layer for best results.

With masks being essential these days, I pay attention to transfer and longevity. There's minimal transfer, and on the mask, it only slightly marks around the nose bridge and cheek areas where the straps touch. I rarely touch up my makeup, and this product doesn't cake up over time. Even when I need to touch up, it blends seamlessly. I chose shade 21c for a brighter look, but it's not overly brightening - it subtly mixes with my skin for a natural glow. I'm very satisfied that it doesn't look cakey, probably because the product is so thin. Also, the coverage might be a pro or con depending on personal preference. It's not high coverage, but rather gives a 'your skin but better' effect. It's hard to explain, but it's like your skin when it's at its best - not completely bare, but very natural-looking. Don't expect the coverage of a full-coverage foundation, but I'm very satisfied as I usually use concealer for areas that need extra coverage anyway!
ConsThe biggest disappointment is the puff... It doesn't help the formula adhere and instead makes it sit on top of the skin. When I first used the included puff, it performed worse than most drugstore cushions. But when I switched puffs, the product's strengths really shone through (please use a black foundation cushion puff...) Also, despite being called 'Glow Lasting', it's not really glowy but closer to a semi-matte finish. I actually preferred this, but it might not satisfy those expecting a dewy glow. If you're looking for a very luminous finish, you might want to avoid this.
TipAs I mentioned in the cons, please, please, please change the puff!

I'm not particularly sensitive and can use most cosmetics without issues. I focus on covering old acne scars and dark spots around my cheekbones. The advantages I've noticed with this product are: 1. It's very hydrating. 2. It gives a natural glow. 3. It doesn't dry out over time. 4. It applies thinly for touch-ups. 5. It doesn't cause blemishes.
Cons1. It lacks coverage. 2. The color is too natural. 3. It looks like you're not wearing makeup. 4. The beautiful glow turns into shine over time. Even with careful application, it's not noticeable that you're wearing makeup. I tried using a pore primer and a brightening moisturizer before applying the cushion, but the product itself lacks coverage, so it didn't make much difference.
TipI recommend this for dry skin types who want a natural makeup look. If you have combination to oily skin or want to cover imperfections, skip the hassle of using concealer and opt for a Black Cushion instead. I personally use high-coverage products for my everyday makeup and keep this glow cushion for touch-ups on the go.

I used the Cho Sung Ah 22 Satin Fit Cushion in summer, but it felt a bit dry, so I needed a glowy cushion. I have sensitive skin (prone to blemishes from pore-clogging ingredients like stearic acid) + oily skin, and I use shade #21. Pros: 1. Applies thinly. 2. Leaves a subtle glow, like a shining white egg? Not an intense dewy look, but a softer glow. 3. The color is pretty.
Cons1. After applying, I felt a slight tingling sensation rather than comfort. It was brief, but with continued use, I developed blemishes. I'm not sure why... 2. It looks very natural, like bare skin! Others say it looks like I'm not wearing makeup... but I don't see much difference from applying a skin-like sunscreen. 3. In terms of longevity and wear, Tony Moly's The Shocking Glow Cushion was much better. This one broke down unattractively around my mask, possibly due to breath moisture. It just didn't work for me.
TipPersonally, Tony Moly's The Shocking Glow Cushion suited me better than Hera for coverage and glow. The Tony Moly one applies a bit thicker, which means better coverage and more glow. I've given my Hera refill to a friend and now use Tony Moly. If you have similar needs to mine, consider trying both...
