  Pros

  This product is absolutely fantastic for oily skin types. Usually, with other skincare products, my face would be an oil slick after just 3-4 hours. But with this, I can go about my day and my skin still feels fresh and matte by the end of it!

  Cons

  While it's great at controlling oil, it can leave my skin feeling quite dry. By evening, when I'm ready to cleanse, I notice a lot of dead skin cells building up, which is a bit frustrating.

  Tip

  For best results, I'd recommend this routine: Start with a toner to refine your skin texture, then apply the Dear Matte emulsion, and finish with a small amount of a hydrating moisturizer that balances oil and moisture. This should help maintain that perfect combination of hydration and oil control.

  It's not too rich while still feeling smooth on the skin. The scent isn't particularly noticeable or bothersome.

  Cons

  I love how matte it is - even in the peak of summer, it doesn't feel greasy at all!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction that caused dead skin cells to appear around my eyebrows and between my brows.

  It absorbs well and applies smoothly. The scent is reminiscent of a bathhouse or toner, but it's not unpleasant. It seems to control oil better than other products I've tried.

  Cons

  You might need to exfoliate before using this. After application, it tends to create a lot of dead skin cells (it feels like it's drying out the skin), so you'll need to apply an additional moisturizer.

  People with extremely oily skin can immediately feel a grease-removing coating effect upon application.

  Cons

  Using this alone can lead to dryness, causing dead skin cells to appear and making the face look puffy. That's why I'm using a regular emulsion as both an essence and moisturizer.

  Tip

  Applying an oil-free moisturizer before the emulsion can help prevent dehydration to some extent.
