  I got hooked on cool-toned makeup and ended up buying this product, and it's really amazing. I'm the kind of person whose eyes look puffy when I apply too much reddish color, so I prefer something that's nicely toned down, and this is just perfect. First, when I apply the base and then the reddish tone, the base color becomes a bit brownish and grayish, so my eyes don't look swollen at all. And the glitters are just so beautiful. There's a subtle glitter as well as a really bold one, so it's very versatile.

  The glitters easily break, so I've been having to repair and reuse them. 😢

  Pros

  The palette only contains colors optimized for cool tones, so you don't need to use multiple eyeshadows. The color selection is really good - if you want pink, there's pink, and if you want brown, there's brown. There's no wasted color! Especially, the brown colors are similar to the cool-toned browns I'm currently using from Rom&nd, which is great. There are two types of pearls - shimmery pearls and glittery pearls. I don't use pearls that often, but they seem quite usable.

  Pros

  Wow, a cool-toned eyeshadow palette! The color combination is so beautiful. The shades are slightly cool-leaning, but without too much white undertone, and the colors are just perfectly blended for me, who is in between cool and warm tones. I also really like that the palette has more of the neutral, everyday shades that I use often. It's so thoughtfully curated... The shimmer is truly gorgeous. Applying it on the lower lash line gives a beautiful, subtle shimmery effect, and using it on the eyelids creates a lovely, transparent glitter... It's safe to say I bought this mainly for the shimmers.

  The formula does seem to have a bit of fallout, which is a bit of a bummer. Even though I only applied the shimmer on my eyelids, I found some of the sparkles in between my lashes and on my cheeks. And since the Peripera eyeshadows have a slightly more hydrating formula, they do tend to be a bit more fragile.

  Tip

  The fallout in the lashes can be easily brushed away with a spoolie brush before applying mascara!
