I've been using this toner for a year now, and it's fantastic! It contains essence, making it excellent for hydration. The product is so gentle that I've never experienced any blemishes, which is great. Compared to regular toners, it's packed with hyaluronic acid, leaving your skin incredibly moisturized after application - that's a major plus! Gone are the days of soaking cotton pads with toner or essence for face masks. Now, embrace the 3-in-1 functionality that combines toner, essence, and hydrating mask to keep your skin supple and deeply hydrated. I've been using it for a year and haven't found any particular drawbacks. I use this product as the first step in my skincare routine. Then, I mix aloe vera gel and Vaseline in a 1:1 ratio and apply it to my face. This combination banishes dryness and gives my skin a beautiful glow. I do this routine every other day, and I make sure to drink 6-8 glasses of water daily to prevent deep dryness. This approach helps maintain a healthy skin with a perfect oil and moisture balance. - su*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
Positive Points Long-standing reliability: Having used it consistently for 10 years, it works steadily on my skin. Exceptional hydration: Just one application instantly moisturizes the skin, giving a feeling of deep hydration. Perfect for sensitive skin: Even those with sensitive or blemish-prone skin can use it without worry. Generous amount & value for money: Economical with its reasonable price and ample quantity, allowing for long-term use. Room for Improvement Additional moisturizing needed: As the toner alone might not provide enough hydration, consider using a moisturizer in conjunction if your skin feels dry. My Personal Tips Pat to absorb: After cleansing, gently pat the toner onto your face with clean hands to enhance its effectiveness. Use appropriate amount: Adjust the quantity based on your skin's condition to maintain a healthier complexion. Pair with moisturizer: After applying the toner, be sure to use it with a moisturizing cream or essence from the same Missha Super Aqua Ultra line to maintain your skin's moisture balance. - gk*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 11, 2025
As someone with oily skin, I found it greasy in summer but have been using it daily since the change of seasons and finished the bottle! The texture is completely watery, but surprisingly it feels rich when applied. True to its name as a skin essence, it seems to work as an essence even when used alone. Even in this cold weather, applying it a couple of times creates a great base for makeup. I think Missha skincare products are among the top in road shop brands, but it's sad to see them overshadowed as the trend has shifted towards Olive Young. I wish Missha would step up their marketing efforts... - he*********Dry SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2024
I've been using this daily for years now. It's gentle on my skin and doesn't cause any tightness. My skin feels comfortable. There's nothing to complain about. In fact, I've been receiving many compliments on how good my skin looks. - aa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 9, 2024
It absorbs well, leaving my skin hydrated, and the effects are great. There's almost no irritation, which is why I've been consistently using only the Super Aqua series. The old Super Aqua series didn't have a strong or unpleasant scent, but now it smells a bit like mosquito repellent. It feels like I'm applying mosquito repellent to my face. Even though there is a scent, it actually dissipates quickly. I'd recommend this only to those who don't mind the initial fragrance. - an***********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsJul 8, 2024
The simple fragrance was inoffensive. The hydrating formula made it easy to apply. As someone with combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin, I found that my face and hands remained sticky even after some time had passed. This might be more noticeable in summer. - cc*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 23, 2024
I bought this from Missha during a huge sale last year and it was amazing. Missha has always been a brand I've used occasionally, and I think they really know how to make quality products. It has a subtle, pleasant scent and it's a water-based toner. I did the '3-skin method' with it, and it truly felt like it provided both hydration and moisture. Whenever I use products with a lot of hyaluronic acid, I feel like they not only replenish moisture but also provide hydration. If you apply a generous amount, you can even achieve a nice glow. I recently finished it and switched to a different toner, but even when I use the same 3-skin method followed by the same essence, cream, and sunscreen, I don't get the same glow I did with this product. For me, it was non-irritating, provided great hydration, and left my skin feeling moisturized. I liked it even without the added glow. To be honest, I'm not really a fan of the glowy look. I have combination dehydrated skin, so my face tends to get oily in the afternoon. When I do my makeup, I'm careful to use powder to mattify everything... Grab it when it's on sale! Missha products are consistently reliable, so you're rarely disappointed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedApr 16, 2024
I don't have much experience with products like this, but I'm using it without any particular issues. I don't really have any complaints. I'm just not very knowledgeable about cosmetics... - ma********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 18, 2024
It absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving my skin hydrated and not dry at all. I usually apply it 3-4 times, letting each layer absorb before applying the next. It's definitely good! No blemishes appeared, and there's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I like it! - ki********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 20, 2023
I'm using this with the emulsion from the same line. Before, I only used the cica moisturizer, but my skin was getting dry after cleansing. So I decided to step up my routine and bought this directly from the store! I have combination skin with a bit of oiliness. I use this with the emulsion after foam cleansing in the evening, and the hydration lasts until the next evening. I didn't feel any dryness at all! It really helps with deep dryness. When I apply it and gently lift my cheeks, there are no fine lines that usually indicate dryness and tightness. This has become a winter essential for me. I have sensitive skin that's quite thin, but this doesn't cause any irritation, breakouts, or redness. However, I wouldn't recommend it for extremely reactive skin. There's a slight, very faint itchiness, but I'm not sure if it's from this or the emulsion (it doesn't cause any visible reaction and goes away after scratching for 2 seconds). Due to the container design and formula, it tends to spill easily... such a waste. It's a bit sticky, so hair can get caught in it sometimes. I'm looking for something better, so I'm hesitant about repurchasing. Not sure if it's hormones or this product, but I'm getting some very minor blemishes - nothing serious though. When you want to cool your skin, you can use this as a light mask to help with irritation (like when your skin feels hot).
