My skin is quite sensitive and on the dry side, but this cream worked well for me. I found it's best to apply a thin layer though. There's a slight medicinal scent, which didn't bother me personally. However, I think some people might have strong opinions about it one way or the other. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMay 31, 2025
- Skin Type | Combination dehydrated skin - Age | Early to mid 30s - Concerns | Fine lines, pores, firmness ————————————————————— Satisfaction | 4 out of 5 stars I'm using this along with the noni ampoule and essence. Noni is said to be great for skin soothing and hydration. The <texture> has a good consistency and is surprisingly lightweight for a repair cream. I find overly thick and rich creams suffocating, so this was perfect for me! It absorbs quickly upon application, leaving my skin feeling moisturized. There's also a cooling sensation that feels soothing. My husband tried it too and said it's his style, asking me to get one for him as well :) However, the <scent> might be divisive. While the ampoule and essence are fine, the cream has a medicinal scent, reminiscent of Mentholatum. Some people describe it as herbal, but it immediately reminded me of Mentholatum. When applying it, I had a moment of panic thinking I might have accidentally bought a body cream! I even double-checked my purchase history. Still, the scent is tolerable. I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so I'm using it without issues. The scent is definitely the downside. I wonder how it would have been with a subtle herbal fragrance! Try using it together with the ampoule and essence. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 24, 2024
It absorbs well and penetrates nicely into the skin. Even in places with strong heaters during winter when it's dry, applying this before going out makes it more bearable. Not recommended for those who prefer unscented products. Personally, I like it, but it has a floral-like scent. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 21, 2024
My cheeks are particularly dry, so I alternate between this and two other creams in the evening. It's not too thick, but it's rich enough to apply when my skin feels dry. I thought it might not suit oily skin types, and I see other reviews saying similar things. I don't use it before makeup, just in the evenings. However, it's great for soothing and hydrating the skin, absorbs well with a nice glide, and has a pleasant scent that makes me feel good when I apply it before bed. Because I have a low nose bridge, when I apply it on my nose and wear glasses, it makes them slide down. It's an unexpected drawback... haha! Before studying, I apply it everywhere except the nose area. I love everything else about it, so I'm already on my nth bottle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 3, 2024
Winter, combined with hot air from heaters, makes for an extremely dry season for our skin. That's why I decided to try the Cellmax The Real Noni Energy Repair Cream, often referred to as the Cellmax Noni Cream. This cream is packed with noni extract, effectively caring for irritated and super sensitive skin as a soothing, hydrating moisturizer. Upon opening, I discovered it's not in a jar, but in a tube format. The tube has a matte finish, similar to ointment packaging, which prevents slipping when squeezing out the product. The cream has a light green tint and absorbs well, leaving no sticky residue. It applies smoothly, leaving the skin feeling moisturized and soft. It works great as a final step in your skincare routine or as an overnight mask. There's no greasy feeling left on the skin, so it even works well under makeup. Usually, even brief exposure to indoor heating would leave my skin feeling tight and irritated. However, after applying this cream, I noticed less dryness. It seems particularly effective at addressing deep dryness, making it perfect for seasonal transitions or the dry winter months. I haven't found any drawbacks yet. I'll update if I discover any. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2022
I tried a sample first and then decided to buy it. It definitely seems to soothe and hydrate my skin well. The price is a bit steep for the amount you get. Fortunately, I was able to purchase it at a discount using a coupon on Hwahae. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 6, 2022
It absorbs well without feeling heavy or pilling, leaving the skin moisturized. I love that you can apply an extra layer on dry days for added hydration. I haven't found any particular drawbacks yet. However, it's worth mentioning that the scent is similar to other cica creams, like the Dr. Jart one. Some people might not be fond of this fragrance. I used a toner with Centella Asiatica extract and Houttuynia Cordata before applying this cream, which might be why it seems to absorb even better into my skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 1, 2022
The hydration is fantastic! It makes my skin feel smooth. Even with my sensitive skin, I don't experience any blemishes! I'm not sure about its effectiveness for skin soothing or reducing blemishes, unfortunately. When I apply it generously before bed, my skin feels amazing the next day. For makeup application, use just a small amount to prevent pilling! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 13, 2022
I loved how it tackled my dryness! The scent is also pleasant, so I'm really satisfied. It feels a bit like it's sitting on top of my skin, causing dust to stick to my face. So frustrating! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 19, 2022
I had been seeing ads for this brand's serum all over social media, so when I needed a cream, I decided to give it a try. The immediate hydration after application seemed pretty decent. However, since I have extremely dry skin with severe deep dryness, this level of surface hydration just wasn't enough for me. At first, it seemed okay, but after a few days, I started noticing blemishes popping up. I'm not sure if it's the noni that doesn't agree with me or what, but I couldn't continue using it, so I passed it on to someone else.
