It doesn't feel wet, but has a slightly oily texture. It's perfect for applying before bed.
ConsGiven its thick consistency, if you apply makeup immediately after using this, it tends to cause pilling.

Sometimes I experience redness around my butterfly zone, and my face quickly turns red if I cleanse too thoroughly. In winter, my skin feels quite dry, but I still get small blemishes mainly in the T-zone, typical of combination skin. When evaluating this product, I consider: 1. Ingredients 2. Whether it worsens acne 3. If it's non-irritating for sensitive skin 4. How well it alleviates dryness 5. Overall feedback on texture and application 1 & 2: The ingredients, which I previewed on the Hwahae app, are good quality. However, it contains shea butter, which isn't bad per se, but requires caution for acne-prone combination skin. I used it sparingly at first and gradually increased the amount. Fortunately, it didn't cause any breakouts. While it forms a protective layer that moisturizes, it doesn't aggravate my skin issues. 3 & 4: Initially, I applied just toner and this cream. It seemed to sit on top of my skin, especially in the sensitive butterfly zone. So, I removed it and used my regular cream there. The next day, I tried toner-essence-cream, which worked perfectly. It helped reduce redness in the butterfly zone and prevented small blemishes around my nose. A few tiny spots appeared on my forehead and cheeks, but I'm not sure if it's related to the cream as they didn't worsen with continued use. 5: The texture is a 'balm' type, similar to Banila Co's Zero Cleansing Balm. It forms a thin protective layer immediately upon application, which seems to help with dryness. It gives a natural glow without being excessive like some water creams. I reapplied thinly every 4-5 hours. It absorbs much better when used with a water-based essence. Despite my concerns about oiliness due to the shea butter content, it surprisingly doesn't cause many blemishes. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free, with only the natural scent of its ingredients. Overall, I find it to be a highly moisturizing cream for sensitive skin. While I'm unsure if the occasional small blemishes are due to this cream, they neither worsened nor improved significantly. However, it seemed to help with the small bumps around my nose. I plan to continue using this cream exclusively for a month, as I feel it's more hydrating than my previous product. I'll update if there are any changes.
ConsUpdate January 26: Using too much can cause blemishes, but far fewer than other creams containing shea butter (I can't even use Physiogel DMT cream on my face). It actually helps calm small bumps. The balm-like texture is unique and refreshing. It requires a bit of pressure to spread, possibly because I apply it over essence. However, since this balm texture seems to be the cream's signature feature, I'm satisfied with this aspect too. I need to keep an eye on the areas prone to blemishes. Compared to other shea butter creams, it definitely causes fewer breakouts and has a calming effect. Still, since it forms a protective layer and provides nourishment, I'll need to observe further to determine if any issues are directly related to this cream.
TipIt pairs well with essences. Apply either a hydrating or regular essence first, then layer this cream on top to form a protective barrier. The cream might spread a bit due to the essence underneath, but it still effectively locks in moisture, which is satisfying.

At first, I was surprised by its rich balm-like texture, but after cleansing in the evening, I only used toner to prep my skin and then applied this cream. There was no deep dryness. After using the cream, it feels like a thin layer forms on the skin. However, it wasn't sticky. ※One-line conclusion: Highly recommended for dry skin suffering in winter!
Cons※It tends to pill a bit when used in the morning before makeup. (That's why I only used it at night.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------♡ ※I recommend this for dry skin as it has a rich consistency that might be too oily for those with oily skin. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------♡ ※This isn't a type that absorbs by patting. While it may not suit those who prefer lightweight creams, it seems beneficial for dry skin.
Tip*Gently massaging in circular motions helps it absorb quickly. *If you like a richer feel on your skin, layering another moisturizer on top can increase hydration and works well.

As someone with oily, acne-prone skin that tends to act up during seasonal changes, I'm usually very careful when choosing skincare products. Here's what I found: 1. Despite its balm-like texture, I was worried about blemishes, but it absorbs quickly without a trace. It doesn't pill, making it suitable even for oily skin types like mine. 2. On nights I use this, I wake up feeling like my skin has been soothed. It creates a comfortable base for makeup and seems to exfoliate, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. 3. Lately, my skin often gets red from wearing masks. Applying this product on affected areas quickly calms the redness.
ConsWhile I like the product itself, one downside is that it pills slightly when I apply sunscreen over it. I prefer moisturizing sunscreens, but using this cream underneath makes my skin feel heavy and causes pilling. As a result, I mainly use it in the evening.
TipOn days after exfoliating, instead of applying multiple products, I generously layer this cream over my toner before bed. I wake up to incredibly soft skin! It seems to be suitable even for sensitive skin types, making it perfect for use when your skin is feeling particularly delicate.
