Value for money: The quantity is so generous that one purchase can last about 6 months, allowing for worry-free use. Application: Being a gel type, it glides on smoothly and sets incredibly fast. Longevity: Even after 10 hours of wear, about 80% of the makeup remains intact. It's also resistant to water and makeup wipes. Unexpected bonus: Unlike typical pencil eyeliners that tend to break when dropped, this one is surprisingly durable! Recommended for: Those who feel their eye makeup looks flat despite effort, anyone seeking a softer alternative to eyeliner that still enhances the eyes, and those who struggle with applying eyeliner. I'm on my fourth purchase and haven't found anything to be dissatisfied with. Color tip: I mainly use Soft Brown to soften eyeliner edges or extend the double eyelid line! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 14, 2021
The shade is perfect for contouring the triangular zone! The depth of color is just right. It blends beautifully and has decent staying power. Nothing particularly negative to mention... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2020
The natural brown color complements any makeup look. Best of all, its staying power is incredible! It doesn't smudge, and once it sets, it lasts all day long! The affordable price is another great bonus. As you use it more, the tip becomes blunt, making it challenging to create sharp, precise winged eyeliner. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMar 19, 2020
It glides on smoothly and draws well. The sharpener at the end ensures I can always use it thinly. The light brown shade is perfect for that 'no-makeup makeup' look or a natural makeup style - it looks like you've done something, but also like you haven't. It's really ideal for transparent makeup. And the staying power is absolutely top-notch! If I had to point out a drawback, it might be that it sharpens away a bit too much product at times. I often use it for brown or autumn-themed makeup looks because it gives such a natural finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 11, 2020
I stumbled upon this light brown eyeliner while searching for one, and I'm so glad I tried it! The color is exactly what I wanted, it absorbs well, and has great staying power. Best of all, it's affordable, making it an excellent value for money. I highly recommend it! The only slight inconvenience is that since it's a pencil, it tends to get thicker with use, so you need to sharpen it frequently. Other than that, I don't find anything particularly uncomfortable or disappointing about it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 12, 2020
Love it! As expected, Merzy offers great value for money. I like that they have slim, standard, and brush pen options, giving a wide range of choices. These days, eyeliner equals Merzy for me. I'm so satisfied with their eyeliners that I own the brush pen liner (Brownie), slim gel eyeliner (Bronze Opal), and this product. While light brown eyeliners are nice, I prefer using this as a long-lasting eyeshadow in summer. I either use it as a single eyeshadow with lots of blending, or apply a basic shadow first, then use this for contouring, and finish with the slim gel eyeliner. It's perfect for me as I have extremely oily lids - even with powder, everything creases in my deep-set eyes (super oily + easily smudging deep-set eyes = terrible longevity). So using it as a shadow works great. The built-in sharpener is also a nice touch. Whoever designed Merzy's eyeliners is a genius! Hope they work less and earn more! The only downside is that you need to sharpen it, so it might run out faster than expected. That's really the only con. If I had unlimited funds, I'd buy every color - it's my absolute favorite eyeliner. Since it's not a dark color, it works well as a long-lasting eyeshadow. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 12, 2020
I applied this in the morning before work, and it stayed put without smudging even after I got home. The slim design makes it easy to create precise lines. Once it dries, the staying power is incredible! I used to think my eyes didn't look pretty without contacts, but with this, I can achieve sultry eyes even without mascara. It creates a more natural eye look compared to black eyeliner. The only downside is that the amount seems a bit small. I got this in a Lucky Box, but I'm 200% sure I'll be repurchasing it! To create a sharp, defined eye look, you can use your nail to gently shape the tail of the line, just like you're tidying up your nail tips. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2020
It glides on so smoothly. Incredibly soft, almost like a cream shadow. Surprisingly, it doesn't smudge much. It's not completely smudge-proof, but if you give it a moment to set or apply a darker shadow over it after lining, the staying power improves. It's rare to find a gel liner this soft that doesn't smudge easily. I'm satisfied with this level of softness and fixation. Plus, unlike some liners that start soft but quickly set and become difficult to work with, this one maintains a nice consistency. If you need a slightly lighter brown eyeliner, this affordable option is worth trying. It's not the holy grail of pencil eyeliners, but it offers great value for money. For enhanced longevity, try applying a dark eyeshadow over this pencil gel eyeliner. Also, there's a sharpener at the end of the pencil. While it doesn't create a super sharp point, it works well enough. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 5, 2020
For a product I bought in a rush during a sale, I'm extremely satisfied! First, the staying power is excellent. Just when I thought it might be time for a touch-up, I checked the mirror and found it hadn't smudged at all - it was still perfectly in place! Second, it applies smoothly. The ease of application is definitely a standout feature! To be honest, we don't usually use gel eyeliners for intricate designs... However, it's a bit disappointing that it tends to apply slightly thicker than expected. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 11, 2019
I bought this to fill in the triangular zone near my lower lash line. The staying power is impressive - it remained intact even after 14 hours out! (Previously, when I used Clio's Sharp, So Simple? liner, it disappeared completely due to oil.) The color is a soft... slightly ashy milk brown. It's perfect for adding subtle depth to the triangular zone - not too intense, but still noticeable. It's a versatile yet unique shade! I originally planned to buy a reddish liner, but I went for this Merzy liner after hearing great reviews, and I'm satisfied! The application is smooth, and it smudges well too. The price is reasonable, so I'll likely repurchase. There's not much to complain about... but the cap is a bit fragile. If you're new to gel liners, you might accidentally break the cap. You know that clicking sound when it closes? That means you've cracked it. You should close it gently without that sound. However, if you close it too loosely, the product might dry out, which is a bit concerning. Since the color itself is quite light, if you want to fill the triangular zone with a different shade, you can blend this liner first, then apply your desired eyeshadow color on top using a gel liner brush.
