I'm a woman in my mid-30s with super sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes. My skin is highly reactive to seasons, weather, and cosmetics. On bad skin days, I experience itching, redness, blemishes, and small bumps. What I liked about this Madagascar Moisturizing Cream: 1. First, it's from Sidmool. Sidmool has built a reputation in my mind for gentle ingredients and no-frills products. Their serums have worked well for me without causing irritation, and I find their prices reasonable. 2. No blemishes. During the nearly two weeks of use, I didn't experience any blemishes. (The blemishes in the photo are due to seasonal changes, allergies, and that special time of the month.) 3. Texture. I loved that it wasn't too runny or too thick, and it didn't feel heavy on my skin. It provides hydration without being too oily, and its bouncy gel texture isn't sticky or runny. I was satisfied with how easily it spread and absorbed.
ConsWhat could be improved: Well, there was a slight itching sensation for the first 2-3 days. While it didn't cause redness, blemishes, or small bumps, there was some itchiness. It's not entirely free from an adjustment period for new users.
TipThe gel texture is quite bouncy, so if I used a bit more than usual, it would cause my makeup to pill. I found it's better to use a smaller amount in the morning, even with the gel texture. Photo order: Packaging - Texture - Right after cleansing - After applying Madagascar Moisturizing Cream - Face condition the next morning before washing

So I was a bit surprised when it appeared on The Hwahae Testers. It feels like a win to be able to try it out! Looking at the product information, I noticed it's composed of ingredients I really prefer. It contains many components great for skin soothing and recovery, such as cica, vitamin E, panthenol, allantoin, and more. I'm someone who responds really well to cica, so I tested it right away. It's a white cream with a subtle... scent, very similar to the Innisfree Bija Cica Balm I use. Of course, the texture was different. The Sidmool moisturizer, true to its name, had a more hydrating, transparent, and moist feel, slightly slippery even. The Bija Cica Balm felt heavier and more opaque. I liked the Bija Cica Balm because it was creamy but not greasy, but I found out it has pore-clogging ingredients... So I was considering trying something else, and I'm glad I discovered this similar but more hydrating product! I'm thinking of using it throughout the summer. I'm also satisfied with the affordable price!! It's the same as the Innisfree Bija Cica Balm's original price when it's on a big sale...! Perfect! It seems like a well-rounded moisturizer without any major flaws.
ConsHmm... despite the really great ingredients, for some reason it feels a bit itchy. Since it's not causing any major reactions, I'm planning to apply it sparingly and keep an eye on it. (Actually, I've had a bad reaction to a Sidmool product before...! So I'll be watching very carefully.)
TipIf you buy from the official website, they give you so many samples...!

I recommend this to anyone looking for a product without excess oil.
ConsIt causes itching when applied, so it might not be suitable for those with dermatitis or super sensitive skin like mine.

The absorption is decent, and I'm satisfied that it provides just the right amount of hydration without feeling heavy.
ConsThere are times when it feels slightly tingly, but I'm not sure if that's due to my skin.

The texture isn't too thick and it applies with a nice, moisturizing feel.
ConsDo not use this if you have dermatitis or problematic skin. After applying this, I developed round blisters on my face and it became incredibly itchy, so I had to stop using it. I used it for about two weeks, and while it seemed fine at first, my skin gradually started to react badly. I noticed they promote it for super sensitive skin on their official website, but I really don't think that's accurate.

I like that it comes in a tube rather than a jar.
ConsStrangely, when applied to compromised skin, it stings and itches. When the skin barrier is severely damaged, nothing seems to work well.

I've used it for a short time. It feels a bit slippery when applied, but it absorbs well quickly.
ConsIt seems Centella Asiatica definitely doesn't suit me! I only tested it on my chin, but I felt a strange burning sensation and itchiness...! The same happened with Madecassoside cream, so this type of ingredient clearly doesn't agree with my skin. Make sure to patch test before using it fully!

It didn't suit me at all, so I can't really speak to its advantages
ConsIt makes my face feel suffocated and itchy, and I immediately break out in tiny blemishes
