I highly recommend this for those with darker skin tones (shade 23 or deeper) and dry skin like mine! I'm absolutely satisfied with the color range, pigmentation, and how it applies. As someone with around shade 23 skin, I found that many popular concealer palettes on the market were too light, making me look ashy. But this Holika palette is perfect for me! Moreover, since I have dry skin, I'm not a fan of products that apply thick or cakey. This one, however, goes on smoothly and thinly. When I layer my makeup on top, it has decent staying power too! I don't have any complaints yet! Though, it would be the icing on the cake if it came with a small built-in concealer brush! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2023
Personally, I love how spacious the palette is. The color arrangement is also quite appealing. I can't help but think it would have been nice if the palette's packaging design was a bit more attractive. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2021
I loved that I could enjoy a variety of colors in smaller quantities compared to buying individual products. As someone who doesn't wear makeup often, I shy away from large sizes, but this palette is a smart product with just the right amount of useful concealer shades all in one place, allowing users to customize their look. Personally, I have no complaints, but if you want to use this product as a multi-purpose tool, you'll need to be prepared for a bit of extra effort. For me, this one product completes my makeup routine, which is convenient. However, those who already have a full vanity or dislike color mixing might not appreciate the satisfaction I feel. This product consists of skin-tone concealers for coverage and color-correcting concealers. First, I create a color base using the color-correcting shades (pink, green, purple). I choose a concealer shade, scoop out a small amount with a spatula onto a palette, and mix it with a white-tinted cream like sunscreen or brightening moisturizer. If it's too thick, I add some moisturizer for better absorption. After applying the color base all over my face, I make foundation. I mix the lighter skin-tone concealer with the leftover color base. If the shade isn't quite right, I adjust it using colors from the palette as needed. With the remaining foundation and a bit of the darkest shade from the palette, I create a liquid contour for defining facial features. I even use it as eyeshadow. For highlighter, the color-correcting concealers work well on prominent areas due to their whitish tint. (If it's too light, try mixing with leftover foundation.) For blemishes, I use the concealer straight from the palette. For dark circles, I mix the pink concealer with my custom foundation for natural coverage. I try to use all the colors in the palette. Though it may seem complex, the process of mixing and reusing becomes easier with practice. The downsides are the challenge of color mixing and having to clean tools (spatula, palette) regularly. As someone who rarely wears makeup, I appreciate being able to complete my base with just sunscreen and this product, and finish my color makeup with a single lip product for eyes, cheeks, and lips. It's very economical. One tip: always use tiny amounts when mixing! Too much leads to waste. This approach is great for those who don't wear makeup often, want to save money, or need a compact solution for travel. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 7, 2021
The practicality is fantastic with various concealers all in one palette! It's a shame I don't reach for the darker shades very often!
