Typically, when we think of lip pencils, we might worry about accentuating flakiness or having a thick, stiff application, right? And the color payoff might seem a bit sheer. But the Ciaobella lip pencil was different! I've often had issues with flaky lips whenever I use lip products like tints, lipsticks, etc., so a lip balm was always a must-have for me beforehand. But with the Ciaobella lip pencil, my lips didn't show any flakiness at all, even when I layered it multiple times! (No flakiness whatsoever, even with multiple layers❌❌) Since most lip pencils tend to be matte, you might assume they'd be thick and stiff to apply. I wasn't a big fan of lip pencils for that reason, but the Ciaobella one glided on smoothly and softly, without any stiffness. (The color payoff can be subjective, so take that as a reference!👉🏻👈🏻) Personally, I'm not a fan of the 'just-ate-a-berry' look with super bold, deep lip colors. I prefer a more natural, gradient lip look or one that's built up with multiple layers. So I found that applying the pencil all over my lips first, then layering it a bit more on the inner part, gave me the natural lip look I wanted❤️ If you prefer a more intense color, you can simply add more layers!
