The texture is a slightly bouncy gel-cream that lathers up nicely when it meets water, making cleansing a pleasure. It's very gentle on the skin. The scent reminds me of peppermint, similar to what you might smell in a handmade soap and shampoo workshop.

What I loved most was how squeaky clean my skin felt after washing! I prefer a thorough cleanse over a slippery or overly moisturizing finish, and this product delivered exactly that.
