The Hwahae Trial Reviewer's Yehwa-dam Watery Plum Essence is my absolute favorite essence and I'm currently using it by the bottle. It's the only product that has truly stuck with me in my skincare routine...! It's so jelly-like, soft, moisturizing, and it really takes my skin's radiance to the next level - it makes me feel like my skin is beautiful on its own. Even though I have extremely dry skin, I've tried other essences that are supposedly good, but I always come back to this one after testing. It's a product I strongly recommend to anyone with dehydrated skin! Have you ever found an essence that can tackle dehydration so effectively? I really think you should give this a try at least once - I feel so lost without it and I'm constantly repurchasing it. Please don't discontinue this amazing watery essence!♡
Cons
The only downside is that such a great product only comes in a 45ml size... They sometimes have 75ml available during special events, and whenever that happens I make sure to buy the larger size and stock up. The 45ml size is a bit small and the price is a bit burdensome...(I wish the company would make a 75ml version regularly!)

You don't even need to use a separate toner, as this essence effectively tackles dehydration. You can just use this essence right after cleansing and it works great!

I've been using this product since around fall as I have dry and dehydrated skin! The basic formula is quite dense and a bit heavy, which seems to work well for the dry season! I'm not very sensitive to scents, so I don't mind much, but it does have a bit of a 'mom's cosmetics' smell to it haha While this is a functional product, my skin was already in pretty good condition, so I'm not sure if I've noticed any significant effects. Looking at the ingredients, they don't seem particularly great either. It claims to target wrinkles and whitening, but there are no whitening ingredients. However, I didn't experience any breakouts or issues while using this product. The moisture level right after application was decent, and I didn't experience much dryness. Over time, it did start to feel a bit drying, but I think that's also because I've been using a lighter cream. The hydration was generally okay. There aren't any major downsides, and there aren't any standout effects either - it's been a fairly average experience using this product!

When I first received it, the packaging seemed really large, so I checked if it was actually a large-volume product, but it turned out the packaging was just big. Since it's opaque, it's hard to check how much product is left, which is a bit of a downside.

It's not sticky and has a rich texture. The essence gets absorbed well with just a small amount. The fragrance is similar to the cosmetics that moms use in the bath, and I really like it.

Pros
The formula has a high viscosity and does not flow, making it easy to apply. Once absorbed, it feels plump and moisturized. Despite being very plump, it does not feel overly oily, so even those with oily skin can use it comfortably (I have oily skin too haha). When applied and made up, the makeup also absorbs well and stays moisturized! After receiving the product and using it consistently morning and evening, I felt my skin calming down. The rich, dense texture is great for when you want to provide deep nourishment. The scent is nice, and the overall usage experience is quite good. There were some reviews saying the absorption is a bit slow, but personally I didn't feel that way. I didn't feel it was slower to absorb than regular essences. As long as you don't find it too heavy, this is a product that can be used by a wide range of age groups! With its substantial nourishing feel, it seems suitable for mothers to use as well.
