It's perfect for someone like me who wants good coverage. Before trying the Eclips cushion, I used other brands but wasn't satisfied and was looking for something different. When I spotted this cushion in-store, I decided to give it a try, and my first impression was fantastic. I'm still using it with great satisfaction and would definitely repurchase once I run out. I was worried it might be too matte, but it's not overly matte at all. It gives a flawless skin finish without any cakiness, which I'm really happy about!
ConsOn days when my skin is in poor condition or very dry, there's a slight emphasis on dead skin cells. It's not severe, but you do need to pay extra attention to your skincare on those days. This could be seen as both a pro and a con, but the cushion is slightly smaller than others. While it's convenient to carry in your bag, it might need to be replaced more frequently than other cushions due to its size. If I had to be picky, I'd say I wish it had a bit more coverage. It's good as is, but that's just if I had to point out an area for improvement. The biggest drawback is that the case is incredibly inconvenient to open. After opening the outer case, when you try to lift the inner lid, the entire product case comes out, and you have to keep putting it back in. This happens every single time I use it, not just once or twice. It's really stressful. It's as if you're trying to force in a refill that doesn't fit, and it keeps popping out.
TipLike all base makeup, it adheres perfectly to the skin if you prep your skin well!

I use shade 22, which isn't too light and matches well. It doesn't feel matte, but rather has a hydrated feel? I liked how it made my skin look clear and bright.
ConsAfter finishing classes and coming home, my face is super oily, so touch-ups are a must.
TipIf you apply a sheet mask before using this, it doesn't pill and works well. Also, I found that applying Pond's powder after this foundation is great. I didn't experience any deep dryness.

I thought it might be matte due to its high coverage, but it's actually pleasantly moisturizing. The staying power is impressive too - with just one touch-up, it lasts from morning till night!
ConsWhen I first used it, I'm not sure if the ingredients didn't agree with my skin, but I developed a lot of tiny red blemishes. After about a week of use, it seemed like my skin adapted and they stopped appearing.
TipIf you create a solid base and carefully control the amount you apply, it's perfect for winter use.

On days I use this, my friends often compliment me saying my skin looks great. The coverage seems pretty good too. It's not super hydrating, but I'd say it's more on the dewy side than matte - just comfortably moisturizing.
ConsIt applies quite thick... Not sure if it's because of the coverage, but I used to use Innisfree Water Fit before this, and I can definitely feel how much thicker this one is. Also, the more you touch up, the more it cakes up. The staying power isn't that great either. The shade isn't very bright either. I prefer a more radiant look, but this is too natural for my taste.
TipIt's a cushion that gives a natural finish with good skin expression, so I wouldn't recommend it to those who prefer a brighter, more radiant look.

However, this cushion doesn't cause much flaking! It feels like it really adheres to the skin. I haven't experienced any blemishes or pimples while using this cushion. The finish is more satin-like than matte when you touch it. It leaves my skin feeling neither dry nor oily, but comfortably smooth - I absolutely love the finish. The staying power is decent! I don't usually touch up my makeup as I'm not very active, but it seems to last about 6 hours at home.
ConsIt causes a bit of dead skin cell buildup. I've never experienced this with other cushions, but this one makes my skin slightly flaky. Even after applying oil, essence, or mist, I always get some flaking. It's a hassle having to manage dead skin cells. The coverage isn't great. It covers redness, but you'll need to use concealer for a second layer of coverage on acne scars and dark circles. The lid is magnetic, which I thought would be nice at first, but it's not. I'm afraid of breaking my nails every time I open it. On days when my hands are slippery or if there's any oil on the cushion, it's a struggle. This might be a plus for some, but it's a bit dark for a shade 21. It's more like between 22 and 23. If you have a fair complexion, even shade 21 might be too dark for you.
TipI'd recommend this more for combination rather than dry skin types! It's not particularly hydrating, just not drying. Those with dry skin might find it a bit dehydrating. The color isn't very light! Even if you have a dull complexion, you should be able to use shade 21 without issues. Still, it's best to try a tester just in case. This product is suitable for those with few blemishes. Since it's not high coverage, applying a thin layer will give you a beautifully even complexion.
