*Texture: This product comes in pearl-like biodegradable capsules instead of a pump, with each capsule containing a single-use amount, making it very hygienic to use. Twist and open (remove) the tip of the capsule to dispense a translucent white serum, which is enough for two layers on both face and neck. As it's a serum made by mixing hyaluronic acid and ceramides in an oil base, it may feel quite rich initially. When applied to the skin, it adheres without stickiness or running, making it an excellent texture for facial massage.

*Scent: No added fragrance, though there's a slight oil scent which isn't off-putting.

*User Experience: I use this about twice a week at night to replenish skin hydration and elasticity, rather than daily. As I have oily skin, it takes about an hour for this product + moisturizer to fully absorb, so it's a bit heavy for morning use before makeup. However, when applied at night, I'm satisfied to see visibly improved skin hydration and elasticity the next morning.

As per the instructions, using it after cleansing in the morning and evening, before your moisturizer, can really boost hydration. At first, I thought my routine would be toner-ampoule-this serum, done! But especially in winter, I noticed my skin getting a bit dry after going out. It might be good to adjust your skincare routine or the amount you use based on your skin type.

* Texture: It absorbs well and feels more rich than hydrating. That's why I use it both morning and evening. Ceramide-based products usually work well for me, so this one also feels comfortable on my skin and I like how it builds up the moisture barrier.

* Practicality: This is my first time trying a capsule serum, and I think it'll be especially handy when traveling.

The price. It's honestly a bit expensive for frequent use. Elizabeth Arden has such a wide range of capsules that it's impossible to buy them all from every line, unfortunately.

As someone with dry skin, I noticed my face felt moisturized, soft, and smooth the next morning when I washed it. The product absorbs well, gliding on smoothly. The biodegradable capsules are easy to open and hygienic.

The amount is a bit overwhelming. It's not exactly cheap either. Each mask costs around $2.

I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive with redness. My skin is particularly vulnerable to alcohol-based products. My biggest concern is my pores. Due to its rich texture, I only apply it in the evening. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and the ingredients seem mostly harmless.

The rich formula makes it challenging to use for oily skin types or during summer. Apart from that, the only downside is its devilishly high price.

1. It's fragrance-free, so it doesn't cause irritation or headaches from strong scents. 
2. It works wonders for dry skin, improving skin texture. Despite the 'Hydra' in its name, this isn't a lightweight serum. Its rich texture creates a moisturizing barrier on the skin rather than absorbing quickly. With consistent use on dry days, it can help restore cracked skin.
3. The amount is perfect for a single application.

There's nothing particularly bad about it. If anything, the amount of serum in each capsule might be a bit more than necessary.

This seems to be the most balanced formula among Elizabeth Arden's capsules. It leaves minimal residue on the skin and absorbs quite quickly. Using it alone with toner is sufficient for winter skincare, and it also works well when mixed into a modeling mask.

Tips for using effectively during Korea's dry autumn, winter, and spring:

The four capsule types are serums, not essences. So using them alone won't give the full effect. Always apply a moisturizer afterwards. The Ceramide Lift and Firm Night Cream works wonders. The downside? There are currently four types of capsules available, so you need to rotate through all of them. While focusing on specific skin concerns (like dark spots, wrinkles, or firmness) can help avoid decision paralysis, trying to use them all might lead to over-nourishment. Oh, and the price - 120,000 won for 60 capsules. You can buy them at Hyundai, Lotte, and Shinsegae department stores. This time, I purchased them from a home shopping channel using coupons, card discounts, and my personal points, making it even cheaper than duty-free. However, buying from department store counters often comes with more freebies, so I sometimes prefer shopping there.

Advantages: The skin boosting effect starts immediately after application, and you can feel the hydration continuing to build over time. I had been eyeing this product for months after its launch in the US and Spain on Instagram, and finally purchased it a week after it was released in Korea.

Texture: A pearlescent formula with a slight viscosity that doesn't drip, making it easy to apply directly to the face.

Application: I usually let all my skincare products absorb naturally without massaging, but the Hyaluronic Capsules sink in instantly.

Hydration: If it only contained hyaluronic acid, it would be just another average product. But combined with ceramides, it achieves the perfect balance of hydration and moisture retention I've been dreaming of!

Safety: Even the most effective product is useless if it causes blemishes or side effects. The Hyaluronic Capsules in their pearlescent shells are gentle. With the sudden temperature drop yesterday and today (as I mentioned in another review, my cheeks turn into burning sweet potatoes in cold winter winds), I found that applying the Hyaluronic Capsules reduced facial redness and didn't cause any stinging or itching, proving how gentle it is.

In early November, despite using a humidifier and applying various products, I would wake up with my creams pilling (maybe due to age?) and had to cleanse and reapply immediately. Surprisingly, after using just the Hyaluronic Capsules and Visible Difference Cream at night, my face felt comfortable. It didn't dry out in the morning, and I was so busy I forgot to cleanse until evening.

Lately, with the COVID-19 spread, I've been spending more weekends at home and feeling lazy about washing my face with water due to the cold. But after applying the Hyaluronic Capsules, my face doesn't feel tight all day, so I only cleanse in the evening. It's the first time in my life I've only cleansed once a day!
