The Univera Aloe Skin has been a product I have used consistently since my teenage years, so I would like to leave a review.
First of all, I have the type of skin that does not agree with oily lotions or creams, as I have acne-prone and combination skin with an oily T-zone. Choosing a skincare product was quite difficult for me. Moreover, whenever I tried to change my skincare, I would experience breakouts, so I was hesitant to try new products. (It's a very frustrating skin type.)
That's why I haven't found any other holy grail products yet.
The Univera Skincare 100 is a product based on aloe, so it does not cause major issues for my skin and helps soothe it, which is why I have always used this product. It is a perfect fit for me.
Of course, as I have acne-prone skin, I do still get breakouts, but even when I had a severe case of folliculitis all over my face recently, this product did not exacerbate the problem and helped protect my skin.
It's in a gel form, with just moisture and a slightly drying and sticky feel, so I wouldn't recommend it to those who want an oily and deeply moisturizing product. However, I can say that this product has never caused any breakouts for me when I apply it.
And I think the fact that I've only had this level of scarring after 15 years of dealing with acne is thanks to the Skincare 100. This is the only product I've used consistently since my teenage years. I have the tendency to pick at my face a lot, but even with that, the scarring is relatively minimal, which I believe is thanks to this product.
I haven't tried any other aloe products...
But I feel like I've been living well thanks to the Skincare 100 so far, which is why I'm writing this review.
In my opinion, it would be suitable for oily/combination skin types with acne and sensitivity. The hydration and soothing effects are great.
For those with dry skin, adding an extra lotion or cream would be necessary.
I think... I'll probably be using this product for the rest of my life! It's my holy grail!
I will definitely be using this forever.
The only downside is the price?...
But the amount is more than you'd expect, so it lasts a long time!! Truly
Just 1-2 pumps is enough to cover your whole face.
I've recommended it to my dry-skinned friends, but they still tend to prefer using additional moisturizing lotions or creams.
As for breakouts... I've never had any breakouts caused by this product. It's just that my skin is acne-prone, so the breakouts happen regardless.
If you mix the skin toner or ampoules with the Skincare 100, it becomes even more hydrating!
If you find it feels a bit dry after applying, mixing it with a skin toner, essence, or cream can make it more moisturizing~
The order I usually use is:
Skin toner + Univera Skincare 100 + Skin toner or essence or cream (etc.)
The routine varies a bit by season, but generally my skin is on the oily side, so in spring/summer/fall, I use:
"Skin toner + Univera Skincare 100 + Ampoule"
In the winter, however... I'm still trying to find the right moisturizing cream to pair with it, so I'm a bit worried about how my skin will fare this winter... haha
