I've been using Dermalogica's Microfoliant powder cleanser for 15 years - it was my holy grail! But after moving to Korea, it became a hassle to buy or too expensive, so I became a face cleanser nomad again. About 3 years ago, I discovered the SRB enzyme powder. Though it was an unfamiliar brand, the ingredients were similar to Dermalogica's powder cleanser, so I gave it a try. For some reason, I couldn't settle on it and kept switching products. Then, earlier this year during the seasonal change from winter to spring, when my face always gets flaky, I remembered the SRB enzyme powder and decided to repurchase it instead of bothering with separate exfoliation. I'm not very sensitive to changes, so I don't feel anything extraordinary while using it. However, this is a product where you realize how good it was once you stop using it. First off, there's no tightness after cleansing. And despite working as a daily exfoliant, it's not irritating - probably due to its good ingredients. As I was nearing the end of the bottle, I noticed something interesting. Even after drying my face with a towel post-cleanse, I could see a glow when I looked in the mirror. Recently, I've been getting a lot of compliments on my skin - I think it might be thanks to this enzyme cleanser! Above all, removing dead skin cells allows my skin to better absorb high-concentration skincare products, whether for hydration or nourishment. I highly recommend this enzyme cleanser!
The price might be a bit high for the amount you get... Other than that... if I had to pick something else, the packaging design doesn't really make you want to try the product.
It's great to use while showering - after washing your face, use the remaining foam to scrub areas prone to dead skin buildup, like your elbows!
