When using foundation or powder, spraying this on your puff before application enhances absorption and gives your skin a subtle glow. I've tried many popular fixers from other brands with good reviews, but they often left my skin feeling dry or made my makeup break down faster. I stumbled upon this at Olive Young and decided to give it a try. Now, I'm sticking with it as my go-to fixer. The longevity isn't particularly impressive (it tends to wear off, especially when wearing a mask). - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2019
This is the most hydrating setting spray I've ever used! I even spritz it over my skincare when I'm traveling and feeling dry. While it might not be ideal as a fixer, its hydration and moisturizing effects are fantastic. I have sensitive skin, but it didn't cause any irritation. Though it's not the best at setting makeup, I love spraying it generously on my makeup puff before applying base products. It gives such a beautiful glow! It's different from just misting your puff - you must try spraying it directly on the puff. You'll definitely notice a more radiant finish compared to not using it. The affordable price is a big plus, and they offer smaller sizes perfect for travel. The larger size is much more cost-effective, so I recommend going for that. If you're new to it, maybe start with the smaller size to test it out! Compared to other products, its makeup setting ability is subpar. It doesn't really lock your makeup in place. It's essentially just a hydrating, moisturizing product. While it's not the best at setting makeup, I love spraying it generously on my makeup puff before applying base products. Holy grail for dry skin! But I noticed there are quite a few ingredients to be cautious about. Since long-lasting makeup is important to me, I use a drying foundation. However, when I apply this after a solid skincare routine, my skin feels so hydrated! The lid comes off too easily. I wish the lid was more secure. A mist spray would be nice too. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 22, 2019
The difference before and after spraying is really noticeable! I always had issues with makeup settling into my frown lines, chin, and around my nose, or looking patchy. Even with a thorough skincare routine and using a moisturizing foundation, it would still lift. But with this fixer, those problems are completely gone! I was worried that because it's called 'Glow Fix', it might make me too shiny, but it actually seems to reduce my usual oiliness. It maintains a perfect balance - not too dry, not too oily! It works hard to keep my complexion just right! I wish it had a fine mist spray. The particles are too large to spray directly on the face, so I have to spray it in the air and then move my face into it, which is a bit inconvenient. For that Inner Glow look, try applying the fixer after you've finished your base makeup. Let it dry, then finish with powder. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 14, 2019
The Espoir mist is affordable and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight. Spraying it before and after makeup definitely helps your look last longer without breaking down! Personally, I love the scent so much. I prefer mists with a subtle fragrance over unscented ones, and this has such a feminine aroma that lifts my mood every time I use it! As someone who applies makeup quite heavily, I find that after some time, excess oil builds up on my nose and chin, causing my makeup to break down. Despite being a 'glow' product, it leaves a bit of shine. It seems to have less staying power compared to the Espoir Long Wear Fix Mist I used before. Instead of just spraying after makeup, I've found it works best to apply it after skincare, let it absorb, then spray again after makeup. This really makes your base makeup adhere well!
