Banila Co Cover-icious Power Fit Foundation SPF45 PA++ 30ml / 32,000 won You should definitely buy this twice, no, three times! The pink tone is amazing! I have extremely dry skin and severe redness. I also have a lot of blemishes and sensitive skin that can react badly to products, but this one lasts a solid 2-3 hours! While many drugstore foundations are good these days, the Banila Co Cover-icious Power Fit deserves extra praise. One reason is its incredibly fine particles, which enhance its adherence and coverage. It clings to the skin without feeling heavy or cakey! Though it's not the cheapest option out there, I really feel it's worth every penny. While cushions tend to give a dewy finish, this foundation offers a more matte look with excellent adherence. As you can see in the photos, it maintains great staying power for up to 7 hours. For touch-ups, I actually use the Kill Cover foundation, not this one. Since the foundation comes in a glass bottle, I'm worried about it breaking in my bag (I tend to toss my bag around). So I only apply it before leaving for work or going out, and then use a cushion for touch-ups later. My workplace is quite dusty, which leads to a lot of buildup on my face, not to mention the dryness. While some people might use mists, I find it too bothersome even though I have one. With my previous foundation, I experienced a lot of pilling, emphasized dead skin cells, and a cracking sensation on my skin. It also made my wrinkles very noticeable. But with this product, I only start to see some lifting after about 10 hours. Many people say this product isn't moisturizing and is quite matte, which made me a bit worried before buying. But Banila Co products seem to work well with my skin in general, and my makeup looks great with this. After applying the Banila Co foundation, I can touch up with any cushion I have without any breakdown in the makeup!
The only downside is that it could be a bit more hydrating, which would make it easier for those with dry skin to use. Also, I would have preferred it even more if it wasn't in a glass container.
As I have extremely dry skin, I make sure to take care of it. I use a sleeping pack before bed, and before applying the foundation, I mix it with some facial oil. I use a ratio of 0.5 parts oil to 1 part foundation. This prevents the product from looking too matte or lifting, even though it's quite matte on its own. I personally use jojoba oil.
